Breakers Apartments

"I just graduated from college in May 2023 and accepted a job in Omaha. I currently live in a 1 bed, 1 bath and have been here for about 3 months, and feel it is good amount of space for 1 person. Some reviews have complained about thin walls but so far I have not had a problem with hearing my neighbors. The only sound I sometimes hear is through my door if people walk in a group though the hallway but that is not frequent. I also live on the first floor and can sometimes hear the garage parked cars either coming or going but this doesn't really bother me but I guess just something to keep in mind. Management and maintenance are also excellent and very on top of things. If I put in a maintenance request it usually gets completed on the same or next day. Management is also very good at keeping residents up to date and also pushes that residents are able to reach out either through open office hours, text, or email if you have any questions or concerns. I enjoy that it is also close to the Old Market and the River Front parks because there are so many restaurants, bars, shops, parks, and events going on that are within a 15-20 minute walk. I frequently use the fitness center and although it is a bit on the smaller side, it has never been, at least for me, overly packed. The reason I am giving 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that I wish the patio door and windows had a screen attached so that way you could have either open to let fresh air in without having to worry about bugs or flys coming in. I am also on the shorter side and a lot of my kitchen storage is above the microwave and fridge which requires me to use a stool to access anything. I know this is probably just my floor plan, but it would have be nice to have more lower storage. However, there is a very spacious pantry closet that I have made great use of. My air is also slightly loud that if I am watching tv I will have to turn the volume up and down to compensate for the noise and I can slightly hear it when going to bed even with the door closed. There is an excellent green space next to the basketball court that I also wish was enhanced with some outdoor seating and hammock poles or other fun things as another outdoor hangout space in addition to the balcony and other enclosed community space. Overall, I have enjoyed my time here so far at the Breakers and would recommend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced apartment in Omaha with great amenities, neighbors, management, and maintenance."

"I've lived here for a few years now and love it! It's got amazing views of the river and downtown and now that the Riverfront is all done, you can't beat the proximity! The apartments are modern, but have a cool mix of brick and industrial vibes. This is my second Nustyle building I've lived in and I chose it because I know that they care about their buildings and tenants. 10/10 recommend."

"Have really enjoyed my time here. Amenities are fantastic, staff is friendly, maintenance is prompt. The rooftop is easily the best in town. It's a great location, close to downtown and in listening distance of Stir Concert Cove. The walls are a bit thin, as is common in newer construction, so sometimes you can hear your neighbors. I wish there were storage lockers, but there are nearby options. There have been issues with bikes and packages disappearing, but the staff has been responsive. Overall, would absolutely recommend!"

"I have lived at the Breakers Apartments for two years and have thoroughly enjoyed my place. The breakers has pros and cons just as any apartment living situation. Pros: -Management is friendly and prompt at responding to any concerns you may have. -Maintenance is prompt at fixing any problems that arise and have an easy way of putting in a fix it ticket. -There is constant security surveillance and safety features making it a safe place to live. -The location is on the edge of downtown making it easy to get to any restaurant or venue in a short amount of time/walkable distance. -In-unit washer and drier although they have small drum size. -Smaller weight room with machines for cardio and weights along with free weights. -rooftop heated pool and gas line grills on the roof and outside the ground level. -basketball court and large green space. -Incredible views of downtown and all around from the rooftop. -Loading bay for easy moving and bringing in larger loads. Cons: -very limited visitor parking. -Cheap paint in the apartments. Scuffs easy -Pigeons that make the courtyard a mess but maintenance stays on top of cleaning the area and are actively working on trying to relocate them although there is still a large presence. -Semi-poor circulation of heat and air in the bedrooms."

"I have had an amazing experience at The Breakers apartment complex. Its location is unbeatable, granting easy access to the exciting downtown area of Omaha. The amenities are top-notch, including a beautiful rooftop pool, firepit, and grilling area, as well as a serene courtyard and rooftop terrace perfect for relaxing. The building itself is breathtaking, featuring lovely exposed brick and industrial elements. Our apartment is spacious and cozy, complete with all the necessary appliances. The management team is exceptional - they are always responsive, friendly, and eager to help in any way they can. Furthermore, the move-in process was seamless thanks to the heated move-in bay and available grocery carts. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice to call The Breakers home. It offers a perfect blend of urban living and luxurious amenities, exceeding my expectations. If you're on the hunt for a new apartment in Omaha, I highly recommend The Breakers!"
