The Rowe on 57th

"I have lived here since they built the first building! It has been amazing living here. Whenever I need something fix by maintenance they are on it and get it all done very fast! Jeremy is amazing property manger he is very helpful, polite, professional, and very respectful! Him and the others before always help me out since moving here I had went through some personal things and they made sure I was okay and good where I don’t lose my place to live! One of the best places to live at. They care about you personally and make sure the property always looks amazing!"

"Jeremy is the best without a doubt, the flats have weird things skipped that you’d expect (no garbage disposal), poor floor installation with gaps, flats don’t have designated parking spaces, walls are fairly thin, no elevator in apartments. Nice place, but for the price they are strange things to cheap on"

"I have rented for a very long time and have witnessed the overall quality of properties go downhill quick simply because of management and I credit Jeremy for just how pleasant the quality of living is here at the Rowe on 57th! Between interacting with Jeremy (management) and Joseph (maintenance) I must say it is not only a delight, but also a privilege to be able to live at the Rowe on 57th!! "I usually try to be a very upbeat person and have a positive outlook on life. However, I had a pretty rough experience with the Rowe. First, we needed an air filter replaced but all the maintenance tech did was remove the filter. We called numerous time to get that replaced but were ignored each time. During the winter months you can feel a cold draft through the cheap builders grade windows causing a substantial rise in the energy bill. The walls are paper thin so I was often kept up at nights by neighbors screaming at all hours. Another issue I had was the way they staggered utility payments. It was always 2 months behind so at the end of your lease you are responsible for double payment. Lastly, the property managers do not stick to their word and will make residents foot the bill for their cheaply built apartments. During the initial walk through I was told we would not be responsible for any of the repairs that would be needed once we moved out because of builder defect. However, after moving out I received a bill to replace the vinyl flooring. This is frustrating because 14 months earlier I was told I would not have to pay for new flooring because it was a defect in almost every other unit. I called Thornton Flooring and was told they have done replacement work for almost every unit at the Rowe. If you don’t want to get stuck with a bill replacing cheap builders grade material I highly advise not staying at The Rowe on 57th or any Lloyd Properties. If you do choose to live at The Rowe take pictures and document everything because you’ll often be ignored by maintenance and be left to foot the bill for anything that goes wrong."

"My experience at the Rowe started off very well. The original property manager, Jess, was amazing and helped in anyway possible. The apartment had a few minor things wrong with it when we moved in but were addressed. The one thing that wasn't addressed was the vinyl flooring that would tear simply by placing a chair on it. We were promised we would not be charged for this, but upon our moveout, we were charged $800 for vinyl replacement. Abby is the property manager and refuses to work with us on something that was promised upon move-in. We are being charged for something that was promised we wouldn't be, but because of their lack of documentation/ability to do their job, we have to eat a large bill. She is very unprofessional and I would highly not recommend moving there!"
