"Ron Stortz is the best financial advisor in Omaha. I would highly recommend him."
"In 2014, Stortz Financial Group 'managed' my IRA. I met with them on a quarterly basis, which was when changes to the portfolio were suggested. Aside from those meetings, I never heard from them. I suspect they didn't pay any attention to my account except for the days I met with them. Not my idea of an actively managed account. At our final meeting, I pointed out the poor performance of my portfolio relative to the market. They responded not by suggesting we re-balance my investments, but instead sent me a very polite letter asking me to move my money to another investment firm because they wanted to focus on 'longer-term clients'. I guess tweaking the portfolio would've been too much work. I complied with their request, and they rewarded me by keeping their commission."
