"I've been bringing my dog Zindel here ever since I moved to the area. I spent a lot of time looking around for a good dog kennel - A LOT. Big Creek is even more than that, it's become a second home for my pup. We always know he's well taken care of during our trips. The staff are always so friendly, excellent at communication via text/calls, and Zindel is always excited to go there. One of my favorite parts is that this is away from Des Moines, with lots of outdoor space, and the indoor facility is the most polished I've seen at any kennel. Also, having to not worry about bathing Zindel after 10 days of playing is amazing - he's always so clean and fluffy when I get him back! I highly recommend Big Creek 1,000 times over. "We love bringing our dogs to Big Creek! The staff is very friendly and communicative, making it easier to leave our dogs with peace of mind. As soon as we turn onto the gravel road, our dogs go bezerk with excitement, it's like they know they're in for some playtime! Our dogs always return happy & tired from playing! They almost always have little to no food leftover, which is reassuring to us that they're still eating while we're away. It's also nice they return bathed if they stay long enough. The facilities are bright and clean. Scheduling and drop off/pick up is always a breeze, too. We love Big Creek Pet Lodge!"
