"Room was clean but not as upscale as you would expect. Service desk was ok. No breakfast, only coffee is provided. It's located in a very quiet and safe area so you wouldn't have any problem. They have parking available at the front and in the back. Overall, it was an OK stay for my two nights."

"If I could have given this place a 0 I would've! At first the desk clerks here were very nice and then upon leaving, I was accused of unethical behavior when in fact the clerks were in error. And because I was also accused of giving out information when in the fact the clerk had written her name voluntary, I will not return. I was cornered for several minutes being accused for their errors! Such is unwarranted in any business! If they do not quote the prices at the beginning and keep them as such, they are crooks! Later I received a message from the local police asking me about the problems. The city needs to look into this business."

"Stayed about a week at the end of September 2023. Clean, well furnished room. They do not provide dishes or utensils for the kitchen, but the fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster were great. Roomy cupboards for storing our own kitchen stuff. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The guest laundry functioned well, and when I needed coins for the machines, the staff were prepared to exchange dollars for quarters. We used the high speed ethernet port for internet access and it worked very well. However, we had to bring our own ethernet cable. The nearby lake/pond has a paved trail along one side, and walking in the industrial neighborhood around the hotels was peaceful and nice."

"We picked this location due to reviews and location. The location was perfect for us and the price was in line with others in the area. The young woman at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The hallway smelled like someone had burned their dinner pretty recently. This was constant. Every time we stepped out of the room, a terrible burned food smell was prevalent. For two days! The room itself seemed well appointed with a fridge, sink, and cooktop. The real drawback was the carpet. It obviously wasn't cleaned. There was gravel and dirt throughout. Enough that when you walk across it, there was grit stuck on our feet. We finally put towels down to walk on so that our feet wouldn't get dirty immediately after a shower. We won't stay there on our next visit to Des Moines."
