"From my first lease the ladies in the office have been professional in their appearance and demeanor. Very very helpful. I’ve had three maintenance issue. I entered my concerns on the resident portal and all three issue were resolved that same day. Sunset Winds grounds are always clean. It’s a great place to come home to. Thanks Sunset Winds for all you do."
"I have lived at Sunset Winds for four years and recently switched over to a 2 bedroom. The grounds are nice, but the staff is amazing! The office staff walks you through the necessary move in steps and are always responsive and the maintenance staff are all friendly/knowledgeable and requests are handled VERY quickly."
"I have only lived there for 1 year, and the pool was open in the winter...but not the summer? Amenity fees are a joke because the gym equipment didnt really work, pool down, and just overall a bust. When you guys move out - follow up with them. They wont ever follow up with you and charge you for everything/anything. They will say they will come for inspection or contact you for move out details etc, but thats a lie, and a big fat bill will follow you. We deep cleaned the carpet but apparently we left a stain that we didnt even see/notice when we left. You minus well pull up the carpets yourselves when you first move in to make sure they dont charge you for a previous tenants doing."
"Moved in RIGHT before the change of management. It wasn't an impressive place before, but the maintenance crew was awesome and the trees were lovely. It went QUICKLY downhill. The maintenance crew was replaced. The leak in the ceiling and broken tub plug was never addressed (I guess they'll deem to fix the leak next time it rains, meanwhile it can just invite more bugs). The new landscaping apparently takes all summer AND winter meanwhile there has been NO progress made in the pools. OUR MAILBOX HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO SEVERAL TIMES (ONLY SINCE THE CHANGE OF MANAGEMENT). Management just made us new keys FOUR TIMES and said they were working on getting cameras. To top it off, one of the management staff in the office was quite rude when THEIR online payment portal has an error and the rent was late because of it (we weren't notified until 10 days later the payment didn't go through). After reading some of the current reviews, I doubt a lease renewal will be in the cards (and I doubt the security deposit will be refunded as that seems to be what their after if they want quick turn around tenants). It's a shame, I liked this place at first."
"Very horrible experience living here the past two years. They decided to hike up the rent to 1550 a month for a one bedroom, and everything inside is completely dated and old. Roaches, and dingy carpets, feces every single day walking up to our door never cleaned, and the pools were closed all year long! You would think for the price of 1550 a month, we should be getting the ameneties we were promised such as the pool during the summer. Then upon move out, they have the nerve to charge me back and contact a collection agency over 110 dollars due to the carpets being dirty. Are you joking?! The carpets were absolutely nasty upon move in, and they want to charge me extra after move out, despite them not keeping their end of the agreement to offer a pool with the price of 1550 a month for a one bedroom? Karma will catch up to these people if not already. Also, they were offering new one bedrooms online for new tenants for 1250 a month, but my renewal rate was set at 1600 plus, again for one bedroom apt next to the dog feces park. I have contacted the better business bureau because they are unfair."
