"February 28,2024.... Building has not had hot water since January 26, 2024. I have never had an apartment complex deny me of an essential service. This is a major NRS code violation. "Please fix the essential services in my unit within 48 hours or sooner from the date of this letter. If you fail to remedy these problems within 48 hours, I intend to enforce my rights under Nevada law, which include repairing or obtaining the essential services and deducting that cost from rent, finding comparable housing and seeking actual and reasonable costs, withholding the rent, and recovering damages. NRS 118A.380.""

"Day 1, roaches. Day 2, moldy odor. Day 3, more roaches. NO HOT WATER for all of February. Management has not fixed the issue even though it affects a whole building. Management closes service requests without fixing anything. I keep my studio clean but roaches migrate from the building, walls, or neighboring studios. Highlights: 1) next to unlv campus 2) YOU will have to treat for roaches yourself 3) YOU will need to seal bathroom crack/gaps so no moisture soaking in 4) rent + water 50$ + renters ins 17$ 5) YOU will need a fan to get air out of bathroom area 6) no wifi, set up with cox if you want If you don't mind dealing with the above it's a decent apt."

"Its February 17 2024 and I haven't had hot water since January 26th. I'm extremely upset and nothing has been done about it yet. This is against the law for tenants to be without hot water."

"I have to leave a decent review of this complex because many reviews are negative. I’ve had a good experience. Pros: Basically on UNLV campus. The only complex near campus that offers affordable studios for students looking to live by themselves. Apartments are updated. Appliances are less then 5 years old. Large closet space/ decent storage space for a studio Pool is open 24/7 The walls are cinderblock (which could be a con depending on what you prefer) but I have never heard noise from any of my neighbors. Cons There were german cockroaches when I moved in. Most apartments in this area have them. Since I’ve gotten sprayed every 2 weeks by the pest control provided by the complex I haven’t seen a single one. As a female, I have been harassed by some of the males living in the complex while walking to and from my car. Nothing serious besides just cat calling or unwanted conversations. But it is something to be aware of. I live on the top floor, (which I would highly recommend if you are looking to live here) but the bottom floor does have a smell of dog urine in the grassy/outdoor area from all of the pets you can smell when you walk outside. There was a strong musty odor inside my apartment for months before I got a dehumidifier. It has now gone away since I got one. It seems silly to say since we live in such a dry climate. But the humidity inside the apartments has no where to go after you shower so it lingers. There are no windows besides the double front doors. The water often gets shut off for maintenance issues. Residents are always notified and it usually lasts a few hours. It has never really affected me. But if you are home 24:7 it might affect you. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget friendly, studio apartment for 1 person, I would recommend here. For the price point there will of course be things that are not luxurious, but you can make the space come together nicely."
