"It might not be the Ritz-Carlton but it’s better than living on the streets in the hit Vegas sun."
"Well I say that my stay here in apartment 330 is well the only thing is that this building is marked for demolition for the problems it holds and safy issues"
"Koala is now a group home and sober living community run by Wellcare. Over all it was a blessing. There was a class called CDIOP taught by the most awesome teacher ever, that taught on social skills and how to communicate more efficiently as well as identify problems. It was a fun, informative, and useful class. The only class required as well. I think "Casino Center" as it is called is defitely better than being on the streets, however there are internal problems which they approach on a case by case basis. You can get thrown out just by being victimized by someone and standing your ground. They would consider that " being a confrontational roommate ". Do it 3 times and you are OUT. There are drugs being sold inside the walls. Employees that sell people's medication for money or look the other way when the drugs come in. It depends who you are cool with as to what you get away with. The positive side is you get 3 meals a day plus a snack. You get crunched in a one bedroom apartment with 2 or 3 other people that they barely give any thought to matching you up with. ( In Hospital behavioral health wards they pair you with someone they think you will be compatible with. This does not go on here at all! ).There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room as well as efficiency. They make weekly trips to Walmart. If you need help you must go through " puff" on boulder hwy. to get in here. Some counselors here are awesome...I had the one who did nothing and the reputation to go with it...but at least she gave me extra time to pack when I got discharged. The Well care people offer a lot of help to get people on their feet. ( get I.d.s, social security cards, housing ). If you work the program it can really be a blessing. You will be required to stay on property, however, unless you have a designated appointment to leave."
"Terrible dump . One of the worst places downtown. My apartment smelled like a homeless person . Bed bugs. Bursted pipes. Only one old washer and dryer for the entire building, rude manager . Loser ass nasty rude people druggies and homeless crazy people all up in the area 24/7"
"Place was nice when I lived there back in 2009. Rent was 500 a month or 125 a week. Owners were very nice. I would live there again if I ever were to move back to Las Vegas"
