"Do not rent! This is by far the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. They will over charge you on a bounced payment. Mind you my payment would not have been late, if I could contact the office in a timely manner. I had to visit the office three times because Lilly was not there. And they never call you back or answer their phones. They closed me out of my online payment access and I had no way to pay. My rent increased by 300 dollars because of fees. Which shouldn’t even be legal? That’s a 20% increase and in this economy?! Since moving here my rent has been inconsistent in price. It’s extremely shady with the wall of fees they hit you with. There are roaches and the walls are very thin, you can hear everything… everything! My bathtub was painted over and feels awful, and doesn’t feel sanitary since it’s not a smooth surface and it is peeling now. Yes, they used wall paint to paint over my bathtub, probably to hide nasty stains… which I didn’t notice before move in."
"It would be nice if the property manager Lilly would do her job. She finds every excuse not to and every excuse to leave early. On top of that she will tell you anything to get you out of her face. This is place is terrible."
"I have lived at Tides at Spring Mountain for over a year and i have moved units and it was the fastest and easiest conversion to an apartment I have ever done. Lily our apartment manager is not only knowledgeable but very very helpful. She made this transition for me easy she even got me into my home a day early!! Thank you Lily for being a great manager!! The staff at Tides at Spring Mountain have always been available for any of my needs their door is always open and I have always been able to get a hold of someone within business hours. I give Tides @ Spring Mountain a 5 star rating because of Lily and the office staff they are amazing!"
"Tides @Spring Mountain by far has been the Worst apartments to live in and the management staff is HORRIBLE and seems as if they are scamming to get security deposits. Almost EVERY WEEK THERE IS A NEW ASSISTANT/MANAGER. They are always switching companies so that should say enough about them as a whole. There was absolutely no damage done to the the property upon moving out. However, they are still taking my security deposit. I was also charged and extra fee $65 and was not aware of it being added to the portal. I have reached out to property management via phone and they never answer. I have emailed them as well but they will not return my emails. My issue is they are not returning my security deposit and charging me extra because my keys were not turned in. There was NO specific date set to turn my keys in. I tried on numerous occasions to turn in my keys to them but was not able to contact anyone. I STRONGLY, STRONGLY advise no one to move into the Tides @spring mountain location of Las Vegas, NV. This is an absolute horrific place to live and they do NOT tend to tenants when needed."
"I’m glad other recent move ins had a good move in experience but I am not one of them. My unit was not shown to me previously and when I got the keys, it was not move in ready. I asked the Property Manager Lily for a unit transfer but she advised me my unit was “nice” and I would need to repay the deposit and re-qualify for a new unit. She also had a bad attitude during this interaction despite the fact I was being really nice about the situation. She promised me a cleaning that I of course never got. I then reached out to corporate so they could solve my issue since Lily either didn’t want to or couldn’t, and they have ignored all my emails. I have attached photos of my “nice” (aka uninhabitable) unit. Doreen (no longer works here) and Mike the maintenance man are the only reason for the two stars and the only reason I have not broken my lease for the condition of the unit upon move in. Also if the owner tells you to call the office to fix the issues, I hate to break it to you, but they don’t answer the phone; and with my nightmare experience, would suggest keeping things in writing instead. And yes, cockroaches every day despite the fact that I clean every day and have never had a pest problem anywhere else I’ve lived. I also have friends who live at other Tides properties and none of us have anything positive to say. At least if you move here you’re informed. If anything changes I’ll update but the chances of that are slim to nada."
