"I lived here for 2 years and loved my renting experience with the Vue. The Vue was always accommodating with our timeline. Our apartment had high ceilings, stainless appliances and modern finishes. I would recommend renting here if you are looking somewhere to stay in centennial. Everything is close by and the neighborhood felt safe overall. Thank you to the office staff for always being so kind and helpful with our move in/out experience."
"After months of searching for a place to stay; moving from Oklahoma. I made it very clear that I'm partially blind due to being a domestic abuse victim. I asked was it ok for me to bring my own washer and dryer. I memorized the settings on my own unit by physical touch. The rep Christina said yes and I will have to fill out a form an “accommodating disabled form”. I moved in yesterday and I notice there's a washer and dryer in the unit. I kindly ask why and was told that my washer and dryer is a liability. There's no space in the unit to store an extra dryer. The current ready appliance is very difficult to use. I'm truly heartbroken. I wouldn't have moved in if this wasn't prioritized. Due to the space in the unit I was forced to purchase a garage full price $100 per month for my washer in dryer. Also the lease agreement states they have disabled accommodations I feel like I was misled and discriminated against. It’s not just about the washer and dryer, it’s about the lack of consideration and understanding for my disability. I have been through so much already and now I have to deal with this added stress and inconvenience. It’s not fair that I have to pay extra for something that was promised to me and that I need in order to live comfortably. It’s frustrating and disheartening to constantly have to fight for basic accommodations that should be readily available. Especially when a representative says yes. I hope that in the future, landlords and property managers will be more understanding and accommodating towards individuals with disabilities. We deserve to have equal access to housing and not be discriminated against because of our disabilities. It’s time for society to recognize and prioritize the needs of those with disabilities and make necessary changes to ensure equal opportunities for all. I will not let this experience discourage me, but I will use it as motivation to continue advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. No one should have to go through what I have gone through and I will do my part to make sure that others do not have to face the same challenges and discrimination. It’s time for change and I will not stop until it happens. I hope that my story will serve as a reminder that individuals with disabilities are capable and deserving of the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. We are not defined by our disabilities, but by our strength and resilience in the face of adversity. I will not let this setback define me, but I will use it as a stepping stone towards a more inclusive and understanding society."
