"We went tonight looking forward to one of their delicious breakfasts. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated. 3 employees saw us waiting and ignored us. We left as apparently you don't need our business. We have recently moved here from another state and liked Village Inn. However, lately service leaves a lot to be desired."

"This was by far the most disappointing and disgusting meal I have had in years. We ordered our meal as a carry out 11/5/23 and once we got it home we found out that the chicken fried steak had no gravy, the eggs Benedict’s had no hollandaise sauce and everything was thrown in the styrofoam containers like a big “F you” I should of taken the photos of the food in the containers. I called to speak with the manager and the girl who answered the phone said “he’s in the back cooking and can’t come to the phone.” So for $40 this disgusting mess was made and sent out by the manager. You have been warned. I’m still gagging looking at that giant slap of meat that was suppose to be on the Benedict. Next time we will stick with the best in town Mel’s diner if you are going here and haven’t been to Mel’s you are missing out."

"Not really a review writer BUT. Lunch on Wed 9/27. Wife and I waited patiently. Finally ordered after she had been there 10-15. She got chicken/bcn/ranch , I tried to get fish and chips, was told they had no malt vinegar only tartar. Ok. I’ll switch gears , got a buffalo chicken melt. I’ve had those elsewhere. I like chicken breast , or fried patty. What I got was a very pathetic piece of chicken 1 1/2”x 2 1/2” maybe 2”x 3”. It didn’t fit on the bread so they “ arranged it diagonally to take up more room. Pointed this out TO MGR and proceeded to wait another 20 min. Here comes waiter….to give me the check. I said “NOPE , I’m not freakin paying for that” I had taken one bite then opened up show mgr. Waiter proceeds to berate me for language. I said we would wait by the front desk for manager. Mgr comes out with sandwich. Asks if I want it to go. I said nope and proceeded to pay for my wife’s meal. Not impressed"

"My favorite brunch spot in Fremont! Delicious food and great service in this newly remodeled restaurant. The strawberry crepe, cheesecake crepe, and cheesy hash browns are my favorite items! The açaí bowl is also delicious. Adequate prices, but to save money I just buy sides:)"

"First visit since the renovation. Service was solid and attentive. Food was pretty good. We had a spread from soup, pancakes, chicken fried steak, burgers and salads. We were all happy with our choices. Enjoyable experience."
