"Well, it depends on what you are after. We were after economy because we had to stay 3 nights.Booking got this arranged for just under $50 per night. For that we got a larger room than we imagined and it was quiet even on New Year's Eve, a king-sized bed that was more comfortable than our Select Comfort bed, an older, but clean and well vacuumed carpet, two clean, individual sinks with shampoo, soaps, and lotions, clean restroom, toilet and bath tub and shower, a little coffee pot with tea type coffee bags, about a 32" Toshiba TV, a 30 inch fridge, a microwave, plenty of overhead lights and a wall mounted heating unit that was fantastic and accurate. For us, it was completely acceptable! The motel appears to be in a budget minded remodeling including the equipment. These are things we gave up.Booking said Continental Breakfast...They said they don't have a breakfast and have been trying for months to get it off of there. No biggy to us. My wife took a shower this morning. Three minutes into the shower, the hot water ceased. It was a scene from Ground Hog Day. We didn't report it as we were checking out, anyway. I figure the hot water heater is part of the remodeling and updating. The ice machine didn't work, but they made cubes in trays and stored them in baggies and we're very willing to fetch them for us. So none of these things get us upset, but they might others who are used to Upscale motels. We loved it and will gladly stay there each time we return to visit family in Harlan!"

"Nice clean rooms, simple, not up to date furniture but doesn’t matter. comfortable beds, staff was very friendly providing you with almost anything you may need. Easy access from room to vehicle for hunting. Would stay here again"

"This hotel is adorable. My room was really clean and spacious. The manger was super sweet. The only downside is that breakfast isn't served anymore. Because of the recent pandemic, the hotel was throwing out a lot of food. Other than that I would stay here again."
