"I feel compelled to write a review after seeing these terrible reviews on here. We saw Dr. Trauernicht at Boystown for my daughter who was having terrible gastrointestinal issues. Dr Traernicht was amazing and was patient and kind, answering all of our questions and helping us get my daughter back to feeling better."
"My son had been going to Boys town gastroenterology his whole life and in 2019 we had some vehicle and family troubles going on and I reached out to Dr. Anna K. Trauernicht nurse and explained at that time going to boys town wasn't possible for us because of how far it was and I would have to find some where closer and today November 18 2022 I was told that Anna had fired my son as a patient because of a couple missed appointments and because she did that he can never be seen at boys town again. I was never told that in 2019 and because I had life problems going on at that time my son is permanently effected by. Boys town seems to not really care about the patient it seems its more about the money they get from seeing a kid like my son. I will never recommend people to boys town because at the end of the day all this told me was their in it for the money and if the money is messed with the doctors will do petty stuff like this. For a doctor to do that to a child is disgusting and she should be ashamed of herself that is not GOD like."
"My 2 year old went in to potentially get a scope due to severe vomiting, failure to thrive, not gaining weight, not eating well, and complaining of stomach cramps. We received absolutely terrible care from Dr. Kunnath we waited 45 minutes to see him after our scheduled appointment, I had questions and concerns that he never addressed we saw him for two minutes literally all he wanted to do was blood work he already knew would come back negative. So, I called and requested another appointment with another GI doctor there. They scheduled it and less than 24 hours later they called to cancel to say I was already established with Dr. Kunnath. I refused to go back. I called to request proof of their policy they said they had where I can't change providers or get a second opinion within the same department. I requested this information for almost a year. They kept telling me they can't give it. They can't show me proof of their policy they kept saying they had, I even read the welcome letter and client policy it wasn't in there. Now they want me to stop calling, and sent us to children's. My son is now 3 still having a lot of issues and now help. we don't have Any help. They are the worst hospital ever do not come here."
"After being on hold for 20 minutes, a clueless lady picked up the phone told me she needed to transfer me then sent me back to the beginning of the system..... after another 20 minutes someone picked up phone and transferred me again without saying anything.... after another 15 minutes, I was hung up on."
"Made an appointment and the lady on the phone sounded intoxicated or drugged out. She kept messing information up and I had to repeat myself over 10 times for every question and she would still get it wrong and I'd have to correct her. She kept saying "I cannnnnnt hit the keys right"... definitely going somewhere else if this is the people they have answering their phones representing the company then I dont trust them with my daughters health (who she repeatedly called a boy after a thousand corrections) I think her name was Teresa I could barely understand her through her slurs... gross."
