"We are extremely pleased with our new Daikin multi-system mini split units, purchased from Nevada Residential Services. Charlie was both our sales person and lead technician. He is so knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He answered our questions easily, talked us through the entire process, made certain we were comfortable with the entire setup, and totally delivered on installation day! (We did get other estimates, and had done prior research. NRS came out on top when we checked BBB and online reviews. This system is an expensive investment in our home and comfort, so we did all we could to ensure we made a good selection. Charlie's knowledge sealed the deal.) We are happy to share a 5-star review based on our successful experience and extreme satisfaction with Charlie/NRS."
"I was very disappointed in my last service call with Nevada Residential Services Air Conditioning & Heating. I have given them a 5 Star review in the past but this was ridiculous. My A?C was running non stop. I called they came out, the tech spent about 20/30 minutes and charged $320 for labor. Parts were under warranty. $640 and hour is a bit extreme, inflation or not. When my wife questioned the charge the tech said "Well, I could put the old part back if you like". I was able to put in a clam with my Home Warranty company, they covered it but when they went to pay Nevada Residential Services, they wouldn't accept payment from them. They said "we don't accept payment from home warranty companies. WHAT??? I would think they would accept a payment from anybody. This is customer service at it's worst. I have them come out twice a year for an HVAC tune up but now I may look elsewhere. Very disappointed."
"I’ve been working with Nevada Residential services for several years now and my past expenses are absolutely 5 stars!!! In fact, the first year I worked with them they serviced my AC and I was very happy. I realized my bi annual checkup was coming due but I forgot who serviced my AC 5 months ago. I realize this timing is amazing but they called me to check in and see if I want to schedule a bi Annual checkup. I was so knocked out by this I’ve worked with them ever since and they’ve never disappointed. Recently I had my next biannual checkup and the technician showed me picks of the things he said needs attention. However, instead of providing me with a quote to take care of the needed maintenance, he presented me with an annual subscription package with many options. This is the first time I said “uh oh” I was so shocked by their ignorance I had to take pause for a moment. NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO SUBJECT YOUR CUSTOMERS TO ANY FINANCIAL COMMITMENT! I was also incredibly embarrassed that I felt like I had to justify my finances why I can’t afford most of these very costly packages. Even if I did have the money, what if I select the wrong package and my homeowners insurance denies a claim do to improper service because I didn’t spend enough money on their costly packages. To be fair, I still maintain my 5 star rating for 2 reasons. First, my past experience was absolutely 5 stars!!! Second, this new situation is ongoing. My hope is for my next review to continue 5 stars."
"Excellent Service and Value from Nevada Residential Services Air Conditioning and Heating company I recently needed to replace my heating and air conditioning system and chose Nevada Residential Services based on their good online reviews and competitive pricing. I'm thrilled to report that they exceeded my expectations in every way! Competitive Pricing: Their quote was significantly lower than other companies I contacted, without sacrificing quality. It was clear they were committed to offering fair and honest prices. Professional Installation: The installation team was punctual, courteous, and highly skilled. They completed the job efficiently and left my home clean and tidy. They took the time to explain the new system's features and answer all my questions patiently. Outstanding Quality: I'm incredibly impressed with the quality of the equipment they installed. My home is now more comfortable than ever, with consistent temperature control and noticeable energy savings. Exceptional Customer Service: Every interaction I had with the company, from the initial consultation to the final installation, was professional and friendly. They were responsive to my inquiries and addressed my concerns promptly and effectively. Highly Recommended: Without hesitation, I highly recommend Nevada Residential Services to anyone needing heating and air conditioning services. Their combination of competitive pricing, exceptional service, and superior quality is truly unbeatable. You won't be disappointed!"
"Residential Services Air Conditioning and Heating I normally do not write reviews, especially long ones, but this company really impressed me with their quality, workmanship, and customer care. We had two 18-year-old HVAC York 4-ton units that were working but showing their age replaced in December due to concerns over the HVAC supply availability and the expected major costs increases for 2023 due to the new Federal regulations. After checking the reviews and costs of various manufacturers and installers we decided to go with Residential Services Air conditioning and heating. Spoke with Nikki who scheduled an on-site appointment. Tim and Lawrence came out and did an inspection to determine what would be needed. At this time, I asked if it would be possible to upgrade our system to two 5-ton units with a SEER rating of 16 or greater. They told me that it would be possible but extra ducting and a return would have to be added. When I received the quote, I found it to be very reasonable when comparing to other estimates that I had received with lower priced equipment. We also discussed the NV energy rebate program (contractor only) and the various payment methods (cash, credit card, monthly installments). Installation day was great, we previously cleared out the areas where they would be working. The crews came in with slip on booties, laid down plastic sheeting wherever they were working and went at it. The entire job took one long day, but when they were done, the crews did a great job cleaning up as much of their work as they could ( working in the attic creates a lot of dust that you can’t control, but we had already scheduled to have our carpets cleaned anyway). During the installation, the Senior technician Chris was constantly checking all of the work while I was photographing whatever I could. Chris then walked me through everything that they did, showed me how to set up and use the smart thermostats that were included, and tested everything to make sure that they were in working order. Turns out that one of the A/C units had a slight vibration when compared to the other unit. Found the problem, ordered the OEM factory parts, and installed them the following week. Fixed. A few days later, Emilio, their handyman came out to repair all of the attic access drywall damage. This guy’s quality of work was more like that of a carpenter. Texture coating and color matched perfectly. Afterwards, Tim called to see if everything was working OK, that I was satisfied with the work, and to call them if I needed any follow up. He was especially remindful that I call them for a spring service appointment to make sure that the A/C units were working at their top efficiency. It's been over a month now and the heating side seems to be working fine. Over the years I have had to I have seen a lot of contractors on both sides of the spectrum and these guys are definitely on top of the game. 12/3/2023 Addendum We upgraded our new system with the April aire filtration Once you the work was exceptional While we were having this done, I asked if they did plumbing work I had a leak in a wall having nothing to do with the hvac work There plumber came to Repaired the problem and their drywaller came out and finished the job Everything went well No worries"
