"Years ago I had good care here. It just isn’t the same as it used to be. Phone calls are not returned timely, labs/test results were not correct (called and said there was an issue) and there wasn’t—-mix up between patients? The staff called me and laughed when I responded on the Phone. Were rude about choices women make if pregnancy is somewhat close or do not choose certain birth control options. They are not professional nor do they given women choices like they used to for pregnancy and childbirth and well women care."
"I had my first baby with the midwives, then I went to a regular OBGYN. The experience doesn’t even compare. The midwives consistently ask about your mental health. They will actually sit with you in the room and make conversation with you. During the birthing process, they are with you almost the entire time. You can tell the midwives and the nurses truly care about each patient. I will not go anywhere else!"
"I switched from my old OB clinic to the midwives after a terrible miscarriage experience in late 2021. I just gave birth to my second child in late 2022 and can't recommend this clinic enough. I felt seen and heard at every appointment, even with meeting with a different midwife each appointment. I ended up being diagnosed with GDM this pregnancy and the staff helped me manage my diet to keep it in check so I could continue at the clinic. I delivered at Methodist Downtown and felt so cared for by my nurse and the midwife on call. I definitely plan to continue to visit midwives for all my future care needs."
"Meeting with a new midwife at each appointment makes every appointment feel like the first one and makes it too easy for things to be overlooked/mistakes to be made. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and having to switch providers due to a lack of communication earlier in my pregnancy. I should have been told much sooner that I would have to switch providers but nobody caught it and let me continue to be seen longer than I should have been, and now at 38 weeks I’m starting over with a completely new doctors office. They have made this pregnancy much more stressful for me and caused me an indescribable amount of anxiety and distress. I can’t recommend them."
