"if i could give you zero stars i would. i’ve been a lifetime mercy patient but the events of yesterday morning really make me question that. my husband brought our three year old in yesterday morning who was in ANAPHYLACTIC shock and his face entirely swollen and your front desk “nurses” were more worried about getting his dads ID than helping him. you should all be ashamed to call yourself healthcare professionals. you guys refused to help him and he had to leave and race down to unity point. they took him back immediately seeing that he needed immediate medical treatment before he ended up in the emergency room, or worse. in all honesty who cares who brought the child in? figure that out AFTER you administer life saving medication."
"Dr Gupta does not take into consideration the patients needs. The worst experience I've ever had. A provider should work with a patient and listen to their concerns. She is dismissive and only wants to prescribe more medications instead of treating the underlying problems. She is way too comfortable putting my health at risk!!! The most humiliating medical experience of my life. I left my appointment in tears and very stressed. After my appointment she noted my chart that I declined services because I've explained on multiple occasions that I do not want additional medications and want holistic care. The lack of patient care was alarming. Cannot recommend at all."
"Over 2 months ago, at the MercyOne South clinic, I had blood drawn to check my iron/blood levels and cholesterol levels. My P.A.'s nurse finally leaves me a voice message this week about the results (I'm too annoyed to call the office back). When I was a patient of Dr. Carol Horner's (she unfortunately left the hospital in 2020) at MercyOne, I never had this problem, plus the AWESOME Dr. Horner always automatically mailed a hard copy of my blood work results to my home address. Dr. Carol Horner was one of the very BEST physicians at MercyOne and in general. I really miss her and her amazing professionalism. MercyOne South Clinic Front Desk employees' POOR "customer service": Most of my doctor's appointments have unfortunately included poor customer service. When I walk up to the front desk, I usually have to wait literally one minute before I am acknowledged. Most of the front desk staff do not act very friendly and sometimes avoid eye contact with me. That's really sad. It's not a very welcoming environment for me."
"I went into the Urgent Care side shortly after 7 am and registered at the desk. The woman at the desk sent me a text to finish registering, which I did. I then sat there and waited my turn. I noticed other people getting called back before me, including a person who I watch register and sat and waited for a while. When that person got called back, I went up and asked why I was still waiting and why three people went back before me. Well, the person manning the desk now was not the same person I registered with. All she said was that she didn't know, that was just how the other lady had put me in the system. I said "screw this place" in not so nice words and left. I will never step foot in this facility again. That was a 2 hour wait for NOTHING. That was the last straw. I have spent years waiting and waiting for doctors, having disappointing conversations with them and just having a generally mediocre experience. I don't know where I'm going next, but it will for sure not be at a Mercy facility unless I am unconscious and taken by ambulance."
"I wish I could give 5 stars! While the interactions I had with the clinical staff were amazing, I did have to wait over 45 minutes with a toddler. I wish the reception would have conveyed that to me. I could have gone and gotten my kid something to eat, or at least waited in the car to keep him contained. This is the first clinic where the doctors actually listened to my concerns and helped me get on the right track with medications and follow ups."
