"Disappointed… went in for my first Medicare check up and ended up getting billed $86.01 for an office visit. During the appointment Dr Kat asked about blood work for my cholesterol check and I explained it wasn’t covered, then added that I had to cut my med in half due to aches and pains. That 15 second conversation cost me $86.01 as they billed me for an office visit and Medicare both! Almost like a ‘Gotcha!’ I have doctored with Carlisle medical practice for almost 35 years, but if this charge doesn’t get waived, I’ll be looking for a new clinic/doctor. I won’t go to a doctor/clinic that I can’t trust to have my best interests at heart. … UPDATE… after talking to a patient CSR the charge has been removed from my account.
