"Absolutely wonderful. The office girls, the PA and Dr. Love were all very nice."
"I made an appointment to get a mole checked on my neck for cancer. The earliest they had was 4 months out. I made the appointment and waited the 4 months. I got there today and they had no record of any appointment."
"I had a terrible experience when I went there last week. I came into the building and had to wait 30 minutes to be physically seen. Afterward, I got into the room with the nurse. Christina Warrnen, ARNP, and seldom looked at my areas of concern. This isn't the first time a review spoke of her biased treatment towards women of color. When I tried explaining to her my issues, she kept interjecting. When I finally got to talk to Dr. Love, he was the most pretentious provider I have ever met in life. He was disrespectful, inconsiderate, and lacked empathy. He did not allow me to speak one sentence without interrupting me each time. He sat on the couch with his legs crossed and thought it was okay to dismiss all of my concerns. He looked at one area of concern and did not care to check the rest. When I tried explaining to him how my issue went beyond what he kept trying to diagnose me without any test performed since I had just moved to this area, he didn’t help me. He provided me with two over-the-counter medications, which I had to pay for even though I had three forms of health insurance. He didn’t even care to give me a prescription for it. I believe the reason why I was treated this way is because he thought he would make more money from our interactions, and since that wasn’t the case, he just was not interested in what I had to go through. Everything in that office felt transactional. I was not treated as a human being. I was not treated with empathy. I was not addressed in a way that was respectful of my cultural beliefs and heritage. I recommend not going to this clinic, especially if you are a person of color. I will not be going back."
"I dreaded this appointment mainly because I didn’t have great insurance and I didn’t want to be talked into buying a product line. Well I was highly impressed because they worked very hard to get approval from insurance and never once asked if I’d be interested in buying a product line. They listened and the nurse was part of my team not a bystander. It was a great experience and I feel like I really will receive help that will work…a team."
"I was treated as a child who didn’t know what they were doing. I’ve had this summer rash on my face for a year and a half. The first visit felt quick, and when scraping at the rash, my doctor was very rough. Once she looked at it, she had an idea what it could be and prescribed a cream, but like I said, it’s been a year. I didn’t go back within the year since nurses kept saying it would take a while. But it burned and left a white residue on my face, so I did my own research and found that the cream wasn’t supposed to be on for more than an hour and didn't need to be thick. I followed that instead but added a step that I noticed to help. Still, to no avail, it was on my face. After the year, I scheduled an appointment, and she looked at me like I was stupid to even wipe it off in the first place. I could also hear her and her nurse talking at the door about me. “She said she wiped it off.” “Why would she do that?” “I know. She said something about it helping.” I felt defeated. They already had an idea in their head about me and hardly listened. I felt so small, and being a black woman, if I show any disagreement. I’m angry or just being ridiculous. So when she told me, she would prescribe me more of the cream and stronger pills to go with it. I felt the burning urge to cry. I was about to open my mouth to say something, and I saw her uncomfortable expression and slightly stepping back. I had to quickly change my appearance and crack a joke with a big smile. I wasn’t even a person to be listened to in that appointment. Once I got into my car, I cried for a solid hour. The doctor's name is Christina Warren, ARNP."
