"Please do not go here. They do not care. Had to make an appointment for a walk in... think about that people, an urgent care makes you not only wait but select a time to be seen? so it is or isnt urgent care? anyways.... They check me out and say WOW you're in such good health. and my response is I haven't been able to sleep a full night in 3-4 months because I can't breathe, and they keep telling me I am fine. Then they tell me to go to a different doctor, not a specialist just a different doctor. I guess I thought going to urgent care I would have been seen by a doctor or someone with some knowledge. But all they do is check vitals and say nothing's wrong and show you where the door is. So, thanks for taking my money just to tell me your doctor skills are not up to doctor levels! thanks! Now I have to go spend more money on other doctors. Please dont respond that your sorry to hear about this horrible service... look at the other 1 stars and maybe change how you do business. Wouldn't you want to be known as doctors who care?"
"I cut myself severely at home and Unity Point Waukee got me in immediately. From the check-in, my Nurse and the Doctor who attended me everyone was great, professional and made me feel secure I was getting the care I needed. I had called several local offices who needed appointments which Unity Point does also but they understood my treatment was time sensitive and I say thank you to all."
"Their website is completely wrong. It states that you can walk in for care at any time, and while it mentions there might be a wait and it could be best to reserve a slot online, NO WHERE does it say appointments are required. No where. Yet when you walk in staff is extremely rude and treats you like you’re stupid for expecting to walk in to a walk in clinic. They are unhelpful in giving you other options saying “you can look online at other locations I guess but we’re all full”. Extremely rude. The website seriously needs to be updated to reflect this. I watched several other people walk in and walk out upset. Super disappointed."
"Don't let the "Express" in their name or their self-classification of "walk-in clinic" fool you. Appointments are required, even when there's no one in the waiting room. Don't expect to get an appointment for the same day, even if they aren't busy. Don't count on their website for correct information. It will tell you appointments aren't required and you can walk in anytime they are open to get care. Certainly don't ask the front desk for help or to explain the need for appointments to you. Making them do anything above the minimum is too much to ask and will result in maximum rudeness. Will definitely not be back to this location and this experience is making me question my commitment to this parent health care system."
"Looked at appointments for my daughter for urgent care. Looked online at 11:30am for an appointment and there weren't any available until 7pm. Drove there to see if they could squeeze her in real quick. There wasn’t one car in the lot or person waiting and they still turned us away for what would’ve been a ten minute check up. Whats the point of having an express clinic if you can’t walk in."
