"I used to love this place. I started with Dr Ferrer but saw Libby most often. She was the best but she's gone. I went through a few NPs after her who I was happy with but they both eventually left. Then Metro OBGYN split into 2 CB offices so it got confusing as to which office my appt was. I straight up LOVE Dr Soto but finally both CB offices closed, I hate the Omaha office, and it just doesn't feel as professional as it used to. The other reviews about wait times are absolutely accurate but I didn't experience the insurance/billing problems others did."

"Expect: Long wait times To be over charged and robbed by them To be treated as a number and property than an actual person. Dr. Soto decided to cancle all appointments the week before his vacation! They also are over booking people daily which is quality and a safety concern(illegal). They will book you for des that aren't even there anymore then place you with someone e else ( just had that happen) an fyi to go to anyone that's not apart of CHI anymore. I found out a procedure they wanted me to do will charge me more with soto by 1/4- 1/2 (out of pocket) and thus being quoted by credible offices in omaha and council bluffs that's not affiliated with CHI."

"Worse experience ever. Long waits. One time I was in the e.r had an appointment to check up on my baby. Never even looked at my baby just asked the same question they did over the phone . And I was in so much pain didn't do anything just said drink water. Even though I couldn't keep anything down. Very rude all the time. Paying 200$ bucks to sit there for an hour and get 2 min with my baby."

"There is zero education on financials. With my last baby, we had a financial consultation before we even had our first appointment so everyone was on the same page. With metro obgyn, there was nothing. I asked the front desk lady if it was all billed together at the end, and she said yes. I had my first appointment and then was billed for it and called and asked why I was billed separately, and they said I am not on the “plan” yet because they don’t have an estimated due date on file for me. I had the appointment in November and they are billing me in full acting like I don’t have insurance because they’ve taken 2 months and still haven’t put my due date in! She also said they can’t go back on it so it will be on my 2017 insurance deductible, not my 2018. These people are idiots. The nurse practitioner I saw was nice but not worth the headache of paying in full for my appointments in 2017. I tried to tell the billing department why I was frustrated with that and the lady kept interrupting me and repeating what she said the first time. Don’t expect kindness. All they want is money."

"Absolutely DO NOT let them sign you up for a payment plan for a delivery. Their billing department is terribly slow. The payment plan is supposed to be pre-paying your deductible. However, they don't tell you that their billing department is so slow that you will have to pay all other parties involved in the pregnancy before metro gets their bills in to the insurance company. Which means you'll end up paying your deductible twice and waiting at the mercy of metro for a refund of the deductible you never should have paid them, because they weren't entitled to it at that time. I want to make people aware of this so that they don't have thousands tied up that they didn't need to pay. I had no issue with their doctors or other staff. They were all excellent and treated my wife well."
