"I found Jonny on You Tube about a month ago when looking for instruction for my new Native American style flute. I took the “Beginning Your Journey’ self paced online class. It was very helpful in getting started and avoiding some bad habits before they got engrained. After that, I signed up and completed the “Geting Unstuck” self paced online class and found that very useful as well. I have also availed myself of many of his free tutorials on and have enjoyed the performances and concerts on YouTube. All very helpful and enjoyable! Today i had my first 1:1 lesson via Zoom. "I have taken several of Jonny’s online workshops, and I found them quite useful. Jonny is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about flutes. I have been to both in-person workshops and online ones, and now I prefer the online ones because you can try out new techniques and practice while Jonny is teaching them. If you in a room with 12 other people your “noodling” might disturb others. I find Jonny’s Zoom platform workshops ideal, because it feels like you’re getting a private lesson, yet you can learn from the questions of others.
