"In was a Monday morning, the day was forecasted to be a good old Iowa hot and humid day. Fortunately it was also overcast during the heat of the day! Victor and his crew arrived around 7 a.m., went right to work setting up their shingle removal equipment and started the process. With the safety of the crew in mind we provided PowerAde and water on ice along with stack bars for everyone. I think these items were appreciated throughout the day. The truck with the shingle bundles arrived about midmorning. There is an oak shade tree that has lower branches across the drive, I said we could cut the low branches to aid delivery. The driver said no problem, he parked short of the tree and with his boom was able to maneuver around the tree to place all the shingle bundles on the house roof for the crew! Long story short, the crew decided to work a long day to almost finish the roof replacement. They ended the day shortly after 8 p.m., taking time to clean up any small debris and shingle nails from around all the the foundation plantings and lawn perimeter. It took about 2 hours the next day for a couple of people to finish some detail work and make a final inspection. The finished roof looks great! The cut edges of the roof line all look even, valley and caps installed looking straight, and they even painted the previously white stack pipes a bronze color the match the roof vents and shingle color! Overall we are very satisfied with the end product, and impressed with the workmanship and professionalism this crew showed during their time here. They had a lot of different roof surfaces to deal with on this project. Photos attached to show their work."
