Crown Cleaners

"I have been using Crown Cleaners in Ankeny for almost two years (since I moved back to central Iowa). A friend recommended them, and I’m so thankful! The staff are always courteous and friendly and recognize me when I walk in…sometimes they know my name without asking (I’ve had a few different people wait on me). They do a good job with my husband’s suits and sport jackets. Thank you for doing your jobs well-including asking to see my ID because that’s what I have written on the back of the card I use to pay for my items. Well done!"

"We are very happy with the service we have received at the Crown Cleaners Ankeny location. My son is in both marching up at ISU and is in the National Guard. Both of these have very awesome, but involved uniforms. We have taken both sets of uniforms to the Ankeny location and have been absolutely thrilled with each aspect of the service. The customer service was great (the girls are so sweet and always happy to help), the price is very good and the uniforms always come back looking WAY better than I could have done! They are also very timely and as long as we get the items in within a reasonable amount of time for service, pick up is so fast! Thank you for providing a place for us to bring the items that need a little bit of extra care!"

"I took my mom's wedding gown in to be cleaned as I'll be wearing it at my wedding in the spring of 2024. Unfortunately, water/grease like stains were left all over the bodice following the dry clean, and we were told after the fact that sometimes that happens when older dresses are cleaned. We were then told that another dry clean might surface more stains and there was nothing they could do for me. Absolutely would not recommend - they ruined my mom's wedding dress and were unwilling to make any sort of reparations."
