"When I was young I went to Dr. McMinn Sr. and as a teen I began seeing Dr. Todd McMinn. I have been gone from Omaha almost 5 years now & have not found the level of care and understanding of me as a patient since leaving. Dr. Todd is not a pill pusher and takes the time to explain what he sees going on & offers multiple answers including a script of how the issue can be taken care of. Any time he had a big concern he referred me out, never once did he just write me off as a patient or pass the buck. Even once we moved he still remembered us an gave sound advice. My kids loved him too as their doctor. I truly hope to find a Dr as good as him soon as my PCP."
"Long story short. My family member wasn’t feeling well and was seen by doctor here. They said she was fine. And she passed away a few hours later. Physicians should be able to identify the signs of active dying right in front of their eyes. If something doesn’t feel right, speak up."
"The dr I saw here was only interested in the color of my money. Ordered a test for me 2 years ago, did it and am still waiting for the results. I was told that if I wanted the results, I would need to schedule an appointment and they wouldn't work around my work schedule. More recently, my wife tried calling to find out why they wouldn't fill a prescription, and was told that I needed to "be a big boy and call myself." I don't appreciate the unprofessional attitude she was given. I called to make a complaint, and asked for the office manager. Evidently, they don't have one. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else! EDIT: It's really bad that after this review is when CHI is willing to talk to me."
"EDIT: After talking with your office and my pharmacy again today, it is clear to me that Hyvee dropped the ball here, not you guys. Changing score from 1 to 4 stars. ORIGINAL: Saw Todd McMinn early this morning for my flu like symptoms. Prescribed me some medications and was told by the front desk it would be sent to my pharmacy. All day I have been calling and the prescriptions have not been sent. What is the point of going to the doctor when you are sick if they will not help you get better?"
"Dr. Steier and the front desk are always helpful. Can be a little bit of a wait to talk to a nurse directly but overall excellent service. My doctor really listens to me and has my health at the forefront. I appreciate the honesty and transparency. Also had multiple follow ups at the hospital and they had them contact me to set up appointments so all I have to do is pick up the phone. No run around, no transferring just set up what I need to. Only thing I wish I could do is get a cost estimate before procedures but that's more of a complaint on insurance and the inability to know exactly what is done on all visits. I'll update this if the billing is a disaster Update 10/09/2021: Billing is so far so good. They were willing to set up a payment plan that worked for me. My doctor is great about refilling my prescriptions in a timely fashion. Only 1 bill so far has been separate for anesthesia and that was from the hospital and was not communicated (as far as I'm aware) but is an industry standard practice. Still 5 stars!!"
