CRCSD Transportation, located at 5521 Ellis Road Northwest in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is part of the Cedar Rapids Community School District and is dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation for students. With a fleet of 114 buses and 30 vans, they transport 5,500 students daily on 500 routes throughout Linn County, covering nearly one million miles each school year.

CRCSD has received funding from Iowa’s Volkswagen Settlement Environmental Mitigation Trust, allowing them to purchase 21 propane and two electric buses with vehicle-to-grid capabilities. They have partnered with Alliant Energy to further support their electric bus initiative.
