"Zero stars. Waste of time and money. Kids spend the first five minutes bobbing up and down for no apparent reason. The last five minutes of the lesson is free time. So really the lesson is only 20 minutes. The kids who teach are lazy and rude. The owner is never around and doesn’t respond to email. Don’t bother with this place!!!"

"We've done lessons in groups, privately and even just our kids at several of the local swim schools, but nothing has been as successful at teaching our kids to swim as Iowa Swim Academy. We tried out several instructors to find the perfect fits for each of our kids.They have an excellent set up for kids to get lots of experience in the pool while always highlighting safety around the pool. The instructors have a good time with the kids and help them set goals for themselves that are attainable. Our 8 yr old started off with 0 ability to swim and finished this summer working on improving his form as he swims while also asking we join a local indoor pool to allow us to swim before school. Our 6 yr old started out phobic of putting her face in the water and is finishing the summer learning strokes and improving her time swimming independently. Two completely different kids with different needs and they have both been very successful here. The staff were so accommodating on getting the lessons schedule at the same time and with instructors who matched our kids needs. We will definitely be back as the kids set new goals for swimming next summer. I love that they can accommodate any level of swimmer and help improve on technique."
