"Went for MRA. The bed/slab was to small for me, They didn't care that I was leaning one way. The music was way to loud. I kept SCREAMING to get their attention to turn it down. They have no intercom to talk or listen to the patient. The staff was NOT attentive at all. I would be scared to have ANYONE go to this place. The staff yelled at me, I couldn't stay still. I was falling off the slab. My arm was on the track. It scraped every time the slab moved. This was on the first it is now the seventh, my elbow still has a scab and continues to feel raw."
"My mother is diabetic and had an overnight stay after a surgery. She takes her insulin before sleep and staff here would not give her her prescription of overnight insulin.. Unfortunately, she had to come to tears in front of the nurse in order for her to contact the doctor. (This was after multiple instances of asking for her nightly medication) My mother followed proper protocol to forward a complaint. The letter she received was below par. -Investigation findings: The investigation contributed multiple factors to the clients higher than normal levels of Glucose, including the administration of prescribed steroids as part of the procedural treatment plan I am genuinely confused on how someone can be administered prescription without regard for their medical records? How is the status of their condition not monitored after something like this is administered? -Hospital policy does not permit the use of a patients prescription from home, but we are able to duplicate it our pharmacy. Required to beg for your nightly insulin as a 50 year old diabetic because they wont allow you to take your OWN medication is mind bending. My takeaway from all of this is that I think it’s crazy to have one of your clients seriously concerned for their health while located in a hospital. I would be concerned to show up to this hospital in complete health."
"My husband had a heart attack while 10+ hours away from home. When they found out he was by himself they started lying to us about his condition. Telling us his blood pressure was high (128/87) feeding him suger and carbs to elevate his blood sugar into 300's so they could give him Insulin shots, saying he couldn't get out of bed to use thee bathroom, put in a pace maker and then removed it the next day when we asked them why they had done it. They refused to send his doctors any of the tests or records. Then they said they would only release him vis airlift for $22k dollars. He had to.sign himself out to be able to ride home with our daughter and to the hospital where his normal cardiologist was . It was just awful experience."
"Went to er because I was having difficulty breathing. Night shift nurses were more preoccupied with chatting at the nurses station with each other than being courteous or communicating with me. My boyfriend had to tie my gown closed and the blood tech had to readjust my blood pressure cuff so it wasnt on my elbow. The nurse that took my urine sample didnt even bother to ask if i needed a wheelchair and walked so quickly i had to guess where they went, while leaning on my boyfriends arm. She had to clean the toilet which was disgusting. The CT scanner had blood on the speakers and smeared into crevices. Only good point was the techs were nice and actually cared about my comfort and treated me like a human .Had to find my way to the exit without directions or assistance from the nurses.only good point of my visit was the techs.o ly reason I'm giving it 2 stars else it would be 0"
