Reviews of CNOS Orthopaedic Urgent Care
"Please spare yourself the angst and frustration of dealing with CNOS Orthopedic Urgent Care. We find the doctors unprofessional and lacking in integrity re their follow through with your medical issues. (Their clerical staff are amazing.) The bottom line is, unfortunately not your health. In the future we will be going to Sioux Falls or Omaha for our medical needs."
"This was the worst place I have ever experienced, we seen this very erigant person her name is Chelsea McCrone, very unprofessional does not seem to know very much, she gave a diagnosis with out even looking at my wife, then after examining her and onother set of ex Ray then she stuck with the same stupid diagnosis. There was no signs of what she was diagnosed."
"Very difficult to obtain official radiologist interpretation of X-rays performed at this facility. The only “X-ray report” was what the nurse practitioner dictated regarding her viewing of images. This was charted within the dictation so there were no official X-ray reports to have sent to my other providers. It took almost 2 weeks from office visit date to have the images sent to be interpreted by a radiologist. It was also difficult to get the report sent to the patient portal. It took several phone calls and me having to get angry to finally have my images interpreted by radiologist and reports accessible. Also, the radiologist interpretation was more detailed and had more findings than the notes from the office provider. Info that was helpful to my physical therapist. There are a few instances where X-rays don’t necessarily need to be read by a radiologist, but for the most part, even if a specialist is ordering them, your images should be sent for radiology reading also. Things can be missed and 2 sets of eyes looking at films is safer. Always ask and don’t assume your X-rays are being read by a radiologist and if not, ask why and request they be sent for over read. I learned the hard way."
"I was hurting so bad in both shoulders ,so I went into urgent care to see if they could help me. Although it was not my normal caretaker the PA I saw was excellent! He was able to give me a shot in my worst shoulder and explained that he couldn’t do my other shoulder because I had surgery on that shoulder 2months earlier and I needed to wait. He was so understanding he was gentle when he moved my shoulders. I got in and out in 30 minutes or less! I would recommend this urgent care whole heartedly!"
"I saw Dr Bissell who did my knee replacement and I cannot say enough good about him or his nursing staff. They treated me with respect and did not talk down to me about my procedure even though it would have been easy for them to do so. They took the time to answer my questions and make sure I was healing right after my surgery. It was an excellent experience. They did a surgery boot camp that was a two hour course that taught all about knee replacement surgery and recovery I found this very helpful. I have not had to use the actual urgent care feature of the CNOS practice but I would expect it to be up to the same high standards as the rest of CNOS."
