Boys Town National Research Hospital

"I had to deliver an important SPIDERMAN doll to my little ANGEL VALENTINA. Never been to BOYSTOWN HOSPITAL. It was 8oclock at night, dark, and cold. I pull in and have no idea where to go. I see the BOYSTOWN POLICE patrol car parked and ask him where I can take the SPIDERMAN to my little ANGEL. He says follow me, and drives through the campus all the way to the hospital. He was AMAZING!!!! He went out of his way to show instead of tell. His name is OFFICER HOOK. He gets my 5 gold stars, and respect for being there for the lost ones. Another reason BOYSTOWN is the BEST in the nation."

"Seriously the worst experience I’ve ever had. For a ONE HOUR VISIT where my child had to have anesthesia to remove 2 teeth and install a couple crowns, before insurance the facility bill (which was totally separate from our dentist’s bill who did the work) was $14,000! Seriously, they charged us $233 PER MINUTE for the 1 hour we were there. Luckily our insurance covered most of it, but that is absolutely ridiculous. To put this in perspective, my wife literally had a baby this past year, and she and the baby both stayed in the hospital for 3 full days, and both of their medical bills COMBINED (before insurance) for a THREE DAY HOSPITAL STAY was LESS THAN HALF of a ONE HOUR VISIT at Boys Town Hospital. We will never be going here again, this is the most overpriced, ridiculous hospital I’ve ever seen. Do not go here ever, go to UNMC or Methodist or Children’s Hospital, the pricing will be MUCH more reasonable and you will have a much better experience too."

"Dr. Puttioni is the best! We’ve been with him for almost 10 years. He actually saved my daughter’s life and removed a brain tumor. BoysTown is lucky to have him. When we went to BoysTown a few months ago all the staff was great. We didn’t have to sit and wait. Everything was on time."

"Overall I’ll never bring my child back, my experience with them was almost 5 years ago and I still think about the cruelty of the staff to this day and find it really hard to trust any medical staff for my children. I just thought I would post now to save any other parents from the utter disrespect lack of care and attention to the family. Very much so money, oriented organization could care less about the person behind the bill."

"The way Dr luo listened and understood what I was saying and didn't talk to me like I was stupid and didn't understand anything. First time that I felt there was a doctor in my son's corner. Wish I would have started with him years ago, instead of childrens hospital. Honestly can't say just how wonderful and refreshing the doctor and staff was. Absolutely thrilled with everyone we spoke with. Hands down the BEST experience with a doctor and staff that we have ever had."
