"The staff and doctors at Pawsitive Strides have been spectacular. All are very skilled, knowledgable and gentle with the pets. Maisie began her treatment at Pawsitive Strides to help recover from a tendon tear in her back leg. With a few months of therapy/rehabilitation that included underwater treadmill, shockwave/laser therapy and dietary supplements, we were able to avoid a costly surgery that would be followed by a lengthy recovery period. Maisie is now walking and running with no pain or limping."
"My 15 year old yorkie has the pep and energy of a much younger dog, due to the treatments and suggestions that came from the Pawsitive Strides vets. Everyone is so caring, knowledgeable about the latest treatment options, and easy to work with. They offer curbside service. This allows me to bring my younger dog, so we get a downtown walk while Miss Magic is getting her treatments."
"I highly recommend Pawsitive Strides to others seeking chiropractic or Physical Therapy for their dogs. The staff is wonderful. Friendly office staff as well as friendly skilled veterinarians. I see noticeable improvements in my dog after his chiropractic visits. I feel genuine care and concern for my dog when I visit. I’m sure he feels the love too."
"They were great with appointment reminders, follow up calls, and making sure we had all of the necessary documents in before the appointment. I originally scheduled my 9 year old husky for a chiropractic evaluation because he hit the door jumping out of my partner's vehicle. He showed signs of pain when laying down over the weekend. His primary vet did not recommend x-rays as his symptoms went away after 2 days. But, I still wanted him to get a consult and adjustment because he's older. They did an adjustment and "laser" therapy. I looked up the specifications of the "laser" machine in the room and it was on par with the red light therapy machine I have at home for my own wellness and healing. It was approximately $70 to add that treatment on top of the $150 initial consult. I do believe in red light therapy and the benefits of using such. It's just really misleading to call it a laser and to charge so much for something so cheap and accessible. Dr. Hartman was okay. She's really passionate about her practices and I really love and support that. She is just really aggressive about things she doesn't believe in, like pet aspirin. It's not a big deal, but I think tactful and more productive communication, helping the pet parents understand without pushing your own agenda is really important. Especially, to pet parents that are new to this field of learning. She wanted us to come back every week for 4 weeks. Similar to what human chiros suggest but with me working 1.5 hours away M-F it's just not feasible. Not to mention the cost...I stopped seeing my own chiropractor so we could afford to do this for my dog. I also asked Dr. Hartman if I could record Meeko's first adjustment and she preferred that I didn't. I totally respect that. She told me I could take two pictures but I decided not to because I didn't want to make her uncomfortable. I only wanted the video to show my partner anyway. The tech didn't have a problem with me taking pictures so we did that during the "laser" therapy. My dog, Meeko, is doing great. He was already doing great before the visit, but I'm always looking for ways to help him live a longer, healthier life. I would like him to continue seeing a chiropractor to help him in his aging. We have a second opinion scheduled at another clinic to see if they suggest the same plan as Dr.Hartman."
"Dr. Petersen and her staff are amazing!! They take their time with each patient and answer all questions. They have been instrumental in helping our girl Gia with her hip issues not only in the office with treatments but with giving at home exercises to help. So grateful to have found this amazing place! Definitely recommend!!"
