"When I spoke to your staff recently during OPS' shift to fully remote learning, in hopes of accessing school services for my 5 year old with multiple disabilities, I was told that there were not accommodations at this time at your facilities for a 5 year old who is not potty trained to be changed, and that would be a reason to not accept him into the program or consider him for admittance. I think this is a very minor detail as I am used to being denied for his g tube (which is still not okay), however a school for children with disabilities expecting him to be fully potty trained when he is physically and cognitively delayed, is unfair and unrealistic. So what I am being told by your organization is that my child is "too disabled" for the school for children with disabilities."
