"This hospital is more interested in getting you out the door then actually figuring out whats wrong. I've lived in boone for 26 years and haven't been pleased with thus hospital and the lack of what seems to be care. They have given out the wrong medicines when that's not what was needed and made stuff worse, they have ignored obviously Ill patients just saying you will be fine, a friend of mine died after going here the night before and being told she was fine, and plenty more. I'd just go to ames for decent care of des moines if you want someone who might actually try and help you."

"I have very high anxiety and have come to the ER countless times diner I've moved here. Every single doctor and nurse has shown me the utmost patience and kindness. I came in complaining about chest pain a month or two ago and they wasted no time getting me back in the rooms and immediately rolled in an EKG machine. All the test have shown my heart is okay but I still worry and they are very kind still. I came on again tonight for another issue and it turned out to be a gum issue. I am very impressed with this facility and find the staff much nicer than at Mary Greely and I like them as well. I would definitely recommend this hospital"

"Worst experience EVER at a hospital, I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Every person that came in the room contradicted the person before. Got no where and sat there for a day and a half. After her scope they said everything looks great!! Next person comes in and says you have to stay another day they are doing surgery??? Some staff were nice but one was very rude and condescending. None of them had a clue what was going on!!! Told me to go get the car because someone was going to walk my niece down and after I left they told her she could walk herself down. Wth??? She didn’t even know where to go!"

"Stopped at the emergency room because of swelling in my hand with severe pain. The entire process took about an hour from reception to departure. My nurse Teresa was the best but the entire staff was friendly, smiling, and joking with me. You guys are awesome help up the great work."
