"My father recently told me a horrendous story about our beloved dog being put down a few years ago. We have had many pets over the years, many of which he has had to make the decision to not let them suffer in their older age.. every single one has gone smoothly... they were given a sedative beforehand, fell asleep in his arms by the tree outside. Then I guess they got a new vet.. and our last dog was given nothing of the sort. His story was so horrendous it brought me to tears.. coming from the strongest man I've ever known, in his own words.. "it was so traumatizing, it made him never want to own a pet again."
