"Clean, well stocked store with a lot of options for plants, pots, unique gifts, etc. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. The prices are extremely high, however.. at times 3-5x more than other stores for the exact same item. This keeps me from shopping there more than a few times a year but it's always fun to look around. Only giving 3 out of 5 stars because the prices are so very high, and like I said- for exact same items you can get a mile away at a fraction of the cost. I've never walked out of the store feeling like I got a good deal."

"Staff here are always very kind and helpful. Good selection of plants, lawn ornaments, pots, bird seed, etc. Their indoor plants section is pretty good and diverse w/ species and sizes for small apartment living. Plants are good quality and stay alive. I took off one star for price because sometimes it's honestly unreasonable, for example $50 for a small ZZ plant that should be $20. Nice store if you have the cash or can find a deal."

"So thrilled with the service I received at Earl May today! This beauty was in one hanging pot for $40. I explained I was looking for 3 philodendrons to fill up this cascading planter and asked if she thought I could get away with splitting it up. She looked carefully at it and then offered to split it in 3 for me right there at the counter! She was so patient and delicate with it and I’m totally in love with the result! Your staff deserve a massive kudos— that’s the kind of service that guarantees I will be back!"

"The staff are very friendly. I like how knowledgeable they are, too. They were able to help me find some creeping phlox for my garden. The checkout line was a little long, but I blame that more on everybody buying a huge cart of plants than on the employees. The selection is great. They have many different annuals, perennials, trees, herbs, and vegetables. They usually have several varieties to choose from, too, and not just one type like Walmart or Lowe's. I really appreciate that, especally for annual flowers. I like variety and not just the generic mass produced seedlings you see everywhere. The plants are at an okay price. I would wait for a sale if I were buying more than a few plants, and I wouldn't buy their mini-succulents at $5 each when I can find similar plants at other places for $2 or $3. Overall, it is a great place to shop. Will be back again when I have more time to garden."
