"My child was here for 11 months and the care and respect given to my child declined greatly. Things came to a head when a staff member did not change my toddler's diaper the entire day. When I picked him up his pants were soaked, as was the chair he was sitting in and another child then sat in it. The lies began where she tried to say she had just checked his diaper, someone else said it was checked several hours earlier, and then tried to say that I told her to "push fluids" and a diaper that full happened in 90 minutes. No staff member contacted me after I left that day. No one thought this was an issue. The next morning their negligence and refusal to accept responsibility and come up with a plan of preventing this from happening again continued until one staff member (NOT their management - who had gone silent) offered to move him to another room. The teacher in the other room was phenomenal (Jasmin) and the only reason I continued bringing him to the center was because I trusted HER with his care. However, for 3 weeks they never took responsibility or apologized. They then called me at work 3 weeks later and said I had yelled and cussed at the employees. Three weeks later. They have cameras to prove this wasn't true. I was also never alone with the two negligent staff members so the other staff members were witnesses to the interactions in which there was no yelling or cussing - in fact I said "I love you, but I need to leave this room right now." I never had any contact with the neglectful staff again after that day that they let his sit in his own waste all day because they never thought they should apologize or take responsibility for it. They were trying to force me out, no showed and then "rescheduled" a meeting to "mend" relationships, and started putting one of the neglectful staff members into my son's room when his teacher was out. So we left And then their staff member began stalking my social media page and "laughing" at my posts because she'd "won" and gotten me to pull my child from the center because of her neglect and lack of accountability. My child is now thriving at another center, potty trained, and cared for. I do NOT recommend this center to any parent that thinks they are paying for respectful and professional staff. I do NOT recommend this center to anyone that feels their child's diaper should be changed or that childcare providers need to support potty training. I do NOT recommend this center if you are worried about knowing the truth about what happens to your child in their care. The things that I've had their former parents tell me since I've left (a 1 year old was left out on the playground for 30+ minutes after the class went inside and was found by a parent?!) and that DHS is not reporting on the childcare website. YES I did report the issues that I had and they are still not on the compliance page. https://secureapp.dhs.state.ia.us/dhs_titan_public/ChildCare/ComplianceReport Between May and August of 2023 they lost at least half of their staff and more than half of their children - literally half of the classrooms were empty that had previously been full. They claimed that firing the director in the fall was the solution, however the regional director and new director were the ones that didn't reach out when my child was neglected in October, didn't apologize or think the staff should take responsibility and come up with a plan to prevent this from happening again, and then they called me 3 weeks later making wild accusations about me yelling in their center that they knew were blatant lies because they were trying to get us to leave."

"We are very happy with YBR Norwalk. My daughter lights up for her teachers, Shayla and Becca, and I know she's in great hands. They have been very accommodating to our daughter's needs, and their communication is excellent. I receive pictures almost daily and it's something I look forward to almost as much as picking my daughter up each day. :) When problems do arise, which is inevitable in this field, YBR has been quick to communicate and remedy the situation, at least in my experience. The management team is very professional and caring at the same time. I would (and do) recommend YBR to anyone searching for childcare!"
