"Horrible experience with Pool Tech of Cedar Rapids. It started the first day I met Kristi the office manager, she is NEVER wrong. The replacement liner and equipment I was replacing was previously purchased by the original home owner of the property I currently own 25-30yrs ago. Pool Tech had all the model/serial numbers and records on this pool, equipment etc. I ordered and purchased a new pool liner from Pool Tech on 4/4/23 at least I thought I did. During the order process Kristi informed me I was number 27 on her list of liner replacements they should get my liner installed sometime in mid July. Mid July came and went no without communication. 3. After inquiring about my liner materials, Amanda informed me they hadn't ordered it because they wouldn't be installing it until September. Kristi informed me they wouldn't be finished with their list of current customer underground pool maintenance work until that time. I asked how that could be when she originally told me July. I requested liner be ordered immediately. I made the initial down payment on 4/4/23. I informed them I would find someone else to install it for me. After 12 weeks I finally got a call that my liner was in, I picked it up at their warehouse shrink wrapped and palleted. During the liner installation we discovered Pool Tech didn't included the skimmer or return gaskets/seals. So we were not able to finish the installation the weekend it was replaced so I had to have the liner contractor come back to install them after contacting Kristi to tell her my order had no gaskets. She argued with me that I lost them, she would provide new ones "but when I discovered the originals to bring them back". When I purchase the liner I also purchased a pvc ladder bracket kit. I'm not sure what ladder they looked at after sending them pictures and reviewing the old model numbers from their original file but they weren't even close. The brackets were $85.00 I called and Kristi and informed her they were the wrong brackets she said "well they are yours now, we don't refund incorrect parts". I informed her she placed the order. After another discussion I returned the brackets in person, she attempted to give me an in store credit. I informed her she would be placing the refund on my original card and the I would NEVER be doing business with Pool Tech again! The atmosphere within this company is caustic and their customer service is horrible! A significant refund payment for a portion of the materials that were not needed was made to me. I would reconsider utilizing Pool Tech after this experience."

"We purchased our above-ground pool from Pool Tech during the spring of 2011 and had it constructed that summer. Over the years, the staff at Pool Tech has answered our questions, tested our pool water, provided service, and assisted us in maintaining our pool so we were free to enjoy it with family and friends each summer. This past summer, we decided to proactively replace the 13-year-old liner at the end of the season. Pool Tech personnel and installers of the liner were extremely helpful as they walked us through the process, giving much time and attention to our questions and scheduling needs. Everyone at Pool Tech is professional, courteous, and helpful. Their customer service is stellar, and the staff has offered tremendous support over the years."

"A year ago I was ghosted on a scheduled opening and closing appointment. Had 2 to 3 star service prior to that epic fail. No one would answer phone and occasionally get a return call. I vowed to never call them again. Was desperate and called them yesterday. Someone answered the phone and scheduled a next day appointment. Then someone showed up and actually fixed my problem that day!!! Thank you for great service Angie and Clint!! You have earned the 5 stars."

"I give 5 stars to the good people at PoolTech. I was in a real bind after another company in Cedar Rapids abandoned me. I had family coming from Europe to visit and had no where to turn. Then I called PoolTech. Debbie answered and listened and really cared. She made sure my disaster turned into a dream experience and I cannot express my gratefulness enough to her and her husband for squeezing us into their already extremely hectic schedule. Their understanding and willingness to help is truly moving. They are 100% for customers and do everything in their power to help make your pool experience their top priority. "After doing a lot of research for top rated spas and best places to buy based on years in business, service, warranty and knowledgeable sales people. We selected Pool Tech in Cedar Rapids, which sells the Jacuzzi brand spa. They have been in business for many years selling and servicing pools and spas and we knew from friends that the service was top notch. The first time in the store we met September and Kimberly, two of the most friendly and knowledgeable sales people. They showed us the selection of Jacuzzi spas answered all our questions and suggested we come back for a wet test, which I highly recommend. We came back at closing time and September and Kimberly let us try out one of the spas for as long as we wanted. We bought a spa and September came out to instruct us on the use and care. We did have a minor problem with the spa which was resolved the next day by Victor, one of the technicians. Victor was very polite and knew exactly what to do. I would highly recommend doing business with Pool Tech and the great staff. Thanks September, Kimberly and Victor."
