"Really used to love coming here but the food quality has gone down hill quite a bit. The margaritas were very disappointing and seemed like virgin margaritas. The ceviche came out semi warm which was odd and made it rather gross and unappetizing. The both of us feel ill after eating here. Doubtful we will ever return. For $75, there's a plethora of better options"

"This is a nice restaurant we have eaten here before and everything is always been good, so I figured tonight I will do a review.. They have an extensive menu, some people like that but I've always subscribed to less is more, have maybe 20 or so offerings and make sure they are perfection, but then again some people do enjoy having a large selection, if that's you, then you'll love it.. The restaurant is layed out nice, everything looks clean and fresh.. Steak burrito dinner was very good, excellent flavor, everything cooked perfectly.. Tamale was good. Chicken enchilada was good. For an appetizer we had queso with flour chips, this is something we frequently have here and it's always excellent."

"Very delicious food blended with excellent customer service & ambiance. The waitress & the restaurant manager were very pleasant people to interact with. Reasonably priced with a good quantity of food served. Would highly recommend this place if looking to have some good Mexican food."

"Family gathering for my adult daughter’s birthday which El Vallarta has been her choice of places to eat on her special day for many years, so this is not our first time here; but I can not say that we are regulars to the establishment. Another thumbs up for good food and the restaurant gave off a cheerful/homey atmosphere. Servers were polite and prompt and seem to know when drinks were needed refilled. Total of 7 people were at our table and everyone really seemed to enjoy their food except for the Arroz con Mariscos, scallops were a bit too salty. Other than that, food was good and would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Tex-mex food."

"The place has a relaxed family atmosphere where you’re quickly greeted and seated. Our waiter promptly gave us the menu and took our drink orders. Shortly afterwards, we placed out main order. The food came out fast and hot! The queso was good but had too much bacon. The fajitas were delicious but would have been nice to have more tortilla. Also, the horchata is massive! Over all the portions sizes were large for one person but the food was nothing to write home about. The biggest let down was the horchata as it was watery. We’d recommend eating her if you’re in a pinch or happen to be in the area. The prices are reasonable and has options for dietary restrictions."
