"the flea and tick collars for dogs are complete trash. bought a 2 pack for fifty dollars and put one on my dog almost a month ago. still covered in fleas. literally no change whatsoever. this company is a ripoff"
"No stars.....complete waste of my money. I bought the 7 day dewormer for dogs, topical flea medicine for my cat and topical flea treatment for my dog. None of them worked, and now my dog is not acting right.....so here goes a vet trip --- Thanks Sergeant's....NOT!! horrible ineffective products and maybe dangerous depending on what the vet says after i take my dog in! DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Why are dangerous and unsafe products still being sold? And I wasn’t made aware until after the facts? 1 (a) Killed my son cat, vomited blood, stopped eating drinking water. (b)In process of killing my daughter cat now. Seriously ill, stopped eating, drinking water, vomiting all over the place, problems breathing, and weak - (c) Gave bad skin irritation on my third daughter cat.skin with attached fur came off leaving scar. Definitely was your product. My furry kids never had any eating disorders, seriously vomiting issues food and blood, stopped eating favorite frisky treats or weaknesses until after using your product. Respectfully Submitted and Without Prejudice Master ralph"
"I bought Sergeant's Skip-Flea shampoo to rid my cat of fleas. After a quick bath using the product, my cat began acting strangely and no fleas had died. Within an hour, she was paralyzed from the neck down, with sporadic seizures. I took her to the vet, who confirmed that her symptoms looked like poisoning caused by the shampoo, and did everything they could to fix her. Our beloved kitty's suffering continued for three days before she finally passed. I talked to the company multiple times, as did my sister and vet. They told all of us that the shampoo "does not typically cause those symptoms," but after reading the hundreds of horrible reviews on the product and Sergeant's company, I beg to differ. Their lack of compassion and responsibility is appalling and disgraceful. The fact that this product is still on the shelves and available to the general public is even more atrocious. The product does not advise to use gloves and recommends "no skin contact," but can someone please explain to me how to NOT get shampoo on the skin during a bath? Insanity! This could have happened to a human being, but because it was my cat, very little is being done by the company. A representative called online reviews "liars" and "fakes" when I asked if they had any plans to take this dangerous toxic product out of stores after all the negative reviews. This whole experience, including losing my pet and the way their customer service dealt with it, has been sickening and traumatic. No family should ever have to go through something so devastating, and customers' concerns certainly should not be ignored like this. They should not be selling any flea medicines. Those products should be off shelves. Do NOT support them. They have zero compassion for their consumers and do not take responsibility for the pain/suffering they cause. SHAME ON YOU, SERGEANT'S COMPANY!"
"I gave 3 dogs and 4 cats flea baths. My smallest cat had a reaction to the cat/kitten flea shampoo. 3 days later we had to have her put to sleep. I will NEVER use this product EVER again. The vets we spoke to said this happens all the time. I will tell everyone I know about this product. One person said we should have done a test on her first.RIGHT!!!!! If the product has this kind of reaction maybe only a vet should sell it. Not something sold off the shelf. It is easy to have off the cuff advise when it is not your pet that dies from the crap!!!!!!"
