"Our first day in Des Moines was hot. We spent the afternoon and early evening exploring downtown and it's surrounding area. Because of the corona era, there was no chance of finding a pool or beach on a lake to cool off. We happened upon this small public water park/fountain. Denman Memorial Fountain. At first I was like "eh" but she wanted to stop. We soaked our feet and beat the late afternoon heat for a good hour or so."
