"First bad experience was being lied to about the quality of flooring we bought-we were told totally waterproof product and was not – second bad experience for different project was in the lack of service they were willing to provide for total upstairs flooring-being told that the stairs were not doable without custom woodwork to fill in the side gap, they would not move appliances of furniture, or removing/replacing toilet during bathroom work-we went elsewhere and they moved the appliances, moved the furniture as they went, took care of the plumbing for the toilet remove and replace, and had absolutely no problem doing our stairs. No customer service, no nothing. That’s OK, we found better product, better service, and no hassle or stress with the other company we chose. i’ve had several projects since then, and have not gone to Thorton for any of them."
