"Pure garbo. I have OVER 150k in cash direct deposited a year and they act like i can pound sand. Took my money to navy federal. Bunch of amateurs in this place. They have had a payment pending for 4 DAYS. Then tell me to wait until after the due date to see if it goes through. Solid advice"
"During the sign up process, Dupaco will tell you that you will be granted access to $225 of your Deposit once it posts to your account, and the rest 2 Business Days later. THAT IS A LIE! I deposited my check last Saturday, it posted to my account Monday Morning, but I was not given access to ANY of my funds. I presently have $5 to my name, my cat is out of food, I'M OUT OF FOOD, and I only have 1/4 of a tank of Gas left in my car, and truthfully don't know how I'm going to make it through the next 48 hours. I really depended on Dupaco, but they lied about my when I'd have access to my funds. Is it common policy to literally STARVE your new clients? Because that's what you're doing to me...."
"I had a great experience at this location today. I was greeted as soon as I stepped into the door, and my banking needs were attentively met by the friendly staff there. It was the perfect blend of personable and efficient, as they have a good balance between human beings and technology."
"The branch is very nice and the employees are always very cheerful and helpful. I did take one star away because I wished they would have installed safe deposit boxes when it was constructed. I live 12 miles from the Williams Blvd branch and it is a bit of a drive to get there."
"I am not a fan of the new Dupaco facility. Since I was out in Marion doing some work, and needed to make a deposit anyway, I went to the new branch to see what it was like. The building is impressive, but that is where my impression ends. I was met at the door by a male employee who, in my estimation, was acting in the function of a Concierge. I never made it out of the entryway, and was observed the entire time I was there, which did not leave me with a good feeling. The entryway, although tastefully decorated, is void of seating, in the event a member must wait to make a deposit through the machine in the lobby. I can see this being a problem for people who must work on their feet all day, and older members, who cannot handle being on their feet for long periods of time. I know what a "payday rush" is at the other branches in Cedar Rapids; but at least in those branches, there are several tellers available, and sometimes, there is more than one that comes available at a time. This is in stark contrast to where one member is served by one teller, available through only one machine. Then there is the privacy issue, where members must talk with a full voice, to insure they are heard, and large, on-screen buttons, which are visible to those waiting, and watching as account numbers are punched in. Some, perhaps many, people might think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and they may be right. Myself, I am an "old school" member, who likes the "human touch," available at the other branches, without having to go through a machine. As I left the property, I saw no area that was serviced by a teller at a drive-up area. maybe I just missed it. I did see a machine sitting outside, though. Is an ATM going to replace a friendly face? I was attracted to Dupaco ten years ago, by their aggressive outreach and personal service. My experience yesterday was most unattractive."
