Reviews of Greenstreet Cycles
"Friendly bike shop with some good stuff. Specialized dealer. BMC. Good mechanics."
"I recently ordered a bike from Specialized and sent it to Greenstreet without any prior experience with them. Brandon did a great job on the build and answered my questions on the phone and over email. When I came to the shop to pick up the bike, Zander spent the better part of three hours with me setting it up for a test ride, making adjustments and answering even more of my questions. A great experience all around."
"This bike shop is awesome. The staff is great, very friendly, trustworthy, I can't recommend this store enough. I bought a Specialized mountain bike back in 2019 in Montana. The frame broke while I was in Omaha, so I brought it into this store and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They submitted a warranty claim to Specialized for me and helped me replace the bike. They have a great selection of road bikes and mountain bikes as well as biking gear, and they are quick and reliable."
"In March of 2022 I bought a Specialized Turbo Creo SL Comp from Greenstreet Cycles. I bought it online and had it shipped to Arizona. After agreeing on packaging and shipping costs I was contacted by Jennifer at Greenstreet who told me she had underestimated the shipping costs. I had already paid them $100 labour/$114.95 shipping (plus tax) to package and ship the bike. In good faith I agreed to split the additional costs $187.82 (plus tax) with the store. The bike arrived...damaged. The carbon frame had been gouged in two locations near the bottom bracket. Whoever packed the frame had not placed any protection between the wheel hub and the frame. I contacted Greenstreet and asked them to contact Specialized so that I could have the frame assessed for damage. I was concerned the damage might escalate over time into a crack or other failure causing injury. Jennifer at Greenstreet assured me she would contact Specialized. Over the past year I have sent numerous emails to Greenstreet asking for updates. At one point Jennifer responded stating that she had contacted Specialized and it was in my file. There is nothing showing in my online registered Specialized account. I never asked Greenstreet Cycles for any money to refunded, only that I wanted to have Specialized assess the damage to the frame. In the end I contacted Specialized directly and was told that Greenstreet Cycles had never contacted them, and then had no information they could provide me. The Specialized rep told me that I could get the frame repaired at my expense, but any future warranty issues would not be covered for failure at the bottom bracket. Specialized would still honour the warranty but not at the repaired area. I would not recommend Greenstreet Cycles to anyone. I consider them dishonest. They do not deserve to be a Specialized dealer. The Turbo Creo is a great bike...but buy your bike at another retailer."
"Great bike shop in general. Very helpful people. However the service turnover time is very slow. Alex promised the service which is just brake bleed and cut steerer tube will be done by Sunday which is (3-4 days) since I drop my bike off. However it’s been about 10 days now and it’s not completed."
