"It's a gem! Only day-use for me so far but hope to camp here soon. Meet a friend from NE here a couple times a month for a sanity day...campfire, hotdogs and solving the world's problems. Lots of bird species to watch. As a Wildlife Biologist, I especially enjoy the bison, elk and the easy access to trails and the river. Restrooms are clean and the park is well kept. Rangers are friendly and helpful."

"Great little gem. Bathrooms are clean and new, showers were nice. No reservations but not very busy. One playground in the campground and one not too far away at the park. Archery range there too.. Lots of shade. There are a couple river access points and a canoe put in. Quiet campground, loved it!"

"Botna Bend is a nice little park with elk and bison. It sits on the Nishnabotna River on the edge of the little town of Hancock about 20 miles from my house. It takes a few minutes to get there but is well worth the trip. Nice campground."

"This campground is very pleasant with awesome amenities for campers. Everyone was friendly and respectful of privacy and also very conversational when conversations started. Scenery is gorgeous. Highly recommend camping at this campground that also has buffalo and elk exhibits that are serene and beautiful."
