"Horrible place single mom/grandma here they knew how important a vehicle was with my limited resources...very lucky to be alive..that car had so many things wrong with it. Good job ripping me off. Do not go here!!!"
"My friend and I went here after travelling 500 miles and 7 hours to look at a 2005 Acura RL. After confirming that the vehicle was available and could be held until I got an auto loan, I was impressed by the customer service of Austin over the phone. The issues I have come after actually getting there. Over the phone I was told it had a bad front motor mount, a relatively common issue on these cars and normally an easy repair if parts are available. Austin and his ingenuity whipped up a quick fix with a 2x4 and electrical tape that obviously looked suspicious but he was honest and told be about it as we got there, and it did hold fine for the 20 mile or so test drive. He also said there was an issue with the automatic headlights and navigation system which weren't important features for me to worry about anyways. However, when we got there, no one came out to greet us until he came out with the keys, surprised that we were there. Instead of letting us check the vehicle out cold and being able to cold-start it, he instead was going to get it warmed up and driven around a bit to try and hide some of the first issues we found. He first opened the hood and checked the oil, to which he immediately closed without either my friend or I being able to take a good look at it. We immediately checked it ourselves to find it low and totally black, as well as having a decent amount of sludge residue on the dipstick. Because of this, we started looking under the car and checking for leaks and found a quite severe looking oil leak underneath, as opposed to what Austin told us that it "didn't leak or burn oil". We test out the interior amenities and what not, but notice the vehicle seemed to be in worse condition overall than the pictures actually showed, inside and out. The battery was also significantly degraded from sitting in the lot for a long time, and died in the lot. To Austin's credit though, he did offer to replace the battery later on. During the test drive, though, is where the significant issues reared their heads. Before we even got off the lot, without even stepping on the gas whatsoever to pull out, there was a significant noise in the passenger front suspension that sounded like a blown shock, and later we found both front shocks to be either gone or just about gone, essentially ruining the front suspension. We took it to the nearby town of Turin down the road for the test drive, and after traffic cleared I was able to bring it from 50 to 65 under full throttle to which the car nearing redline started stuttering, but not losing power. I'm not quite sure what exactly was going on, but my assumption is that the passenger front wheel cv axle was getting caught or spinning faster than it should have and was starting to pick the wheel off the ground ever so slightly and tear up the axle while making a horrendous noise. Obviously, we pulled over to check out what had happened so we could make sure we could actually make it back. After checking fluids again, we discovered zero oil on the dipstick whatsoever - a full half quart less that was lost within only 10 miles from the major leaks and burning oil! We just so happened to be lucky enough to be across the street from a very helpful recycling business who were nice enough to jump the car to get it started with their skidsteer. On the way back, I tested the throttle response one more time and got it up to 80. While the car didn't vibrate suprisingly, it made the same noise, only quieter, but pulling much more severely to the right. The car at higher RPMs was also noticeably close to misfiring, almost as if the wrong grade of gasoline was put in while running at lower than normal compression. After getting back and telling him just the start of the issues with the car, Austin was very dismissive and spoke as if he already knew about them. I told him I estimated a minimum of two thousand dollars of work in parts alone, and he agreed. Not once were any of these issues brought up nor were we made aware without finding out ourself. Bring your business and time elsewhere."
"Hey everyone, I would take anything Austin and Brett says with a grain a salt. We drove 7 hours to look at a car, the 2005 Acura Rl, and over the phone Austin said there was only one issue with the headlights. When we arrived he went to start the car and check the oil suspiciously and immediately shut the hood before we could look. So I opened the hood and noticed there was oil all over the engine and I asked him if it was leaking or burning oil he said no. We looked underneath and the whole front was covered. We check the oil dip stick and it was dry! When we took it for a test drive we noticed the passenger tire was shaking right away so we pulled over and the engine started smoking and wouldn’t start without a jump. BIG WASTE OF TIME. If they were as honest as they were nice then maybe it would have been worth it for $1500, instead of $3975. After getting back, we told him it needed an estimated minimum few thousand dollars of work, Austin said he agreed and said that was his guess too. Not a mention of any of the extra issues we found once beforehand and the look of the lot itself seems like shady business practices are afoot. Be weary looking at cars here, they may not all be bad, but bring someone who knows what to look for and is extremely knowledgeable before purchasing a car."
"After a month of owning the car I bought from them I can't really recommend them in good faith. The best thing I can say is that it's still running and drives fine. The closest mechanic they recommended did not do a thorough PPI and it was poorly maintained during the year it sat on the lot. The obvious problems were that the car needed new spark plugs, fuel additives, a coolant leak fix, a brake bleed+reservoir cleaning and a tune-up. In the last week I have found out that some jackass that owned or maintained it before I bought it must have installed the battery backwards(there were hidden scorch marks). The car computer is fried, the air conditioning was bone dry, the hoses were disconnected, there's debris and the compressor was bent. These are not cheap repairs. $2-3k if I'm lucky. That is not what you want to hear after spending over $5000. You can probably make it work here if you're EXTREMELY careful about buying cars as-is, as you should be anywhere."
"I bought a 2017 Ford Fusion SE January 31st 2023. Within the first week I had issues where I had to bring it to a mechanic, a couple weeks later I was having more issues which ended up being a blown head gasket. After it was in the shop for a month I get the car back. Only for a week before it has to go back into the shop with a possible warped engine block. I tried calling multiple times during business hours with no luck for an answer back. If I could give this place 0 stars I would in a heart beat."
