"Excellent bicycle store with a well-versed staff that tends to your every need. I was in the market for my first e-bike, and while I did a fair amount of research beforehand, Drew didn't make me feel inferior for all the newbie questions I had. He definitely knew what he was talking about, without making me feel like I was receiving a sales pitch or feeling pressured to buy. I was able to test ride a couple different variations of the model I was interested in because they have a well-stocked selection of rentals right there in store. I must add that I'm not an avid bicyclist, know next to nothing regarding riding or bikes, but I was so relieved that the staff at Okoboji Cyclist aren't elitists when it comes to an un-knowledged customer like myself. They treated me well, didn't turn their noses up at someone wanting to buy an e-bike (as some purists say they aren't actual bicycles) and helped me with finding the best e-bike for me. I ultimately chose the Specialized Como SL 4.0, which so far has been a great fit for my first e-bike. When it's time for a tune up or needs service done, I have no qualms about having anyone at Okoboji Cyclist work on it. The store has a large selection of both bikes and e-bikes, but it's big and open, not crowded at all. Great selection of clothing, bike accessories and everything else you may need for your new wheels."
