"Fridge frosted up and I took it apart to investigate. Called De Jong's in the morning and scheduled a service job after explaining my findings to Marty. Galen called back 15 mins later and offered to save me a service charge since it sounded like I knew what was going on and I could possibly repair it. I went home at noon and tested it out like he told me and found the cause in 10 min. I showed up at 12:30 with the part and Galen had a replacement on hand for an 18 year old fridge. Installed within 15 mins of returning home and it is as good as new. I appreciate their willingness to save me a service call even though I didn't ask for it especially during Covid when small business are trying to survive. I would highly recommended this store not only for their appliances and their service after the sale, but for always having friendly customer service. They go out of their way to help you whether you are seeking hardware or advice on a project. They don't just point you to an aisle like most other hardware stores. In my opinion this is the best hardware store in the area. Oh, and Marty knew my model and serial # from her rolodex from when I purchased my fridge there 18 years ago!!! Awesome!!"
