"Great place to go for a walk and a nice place to hold a event. A good playground for the kids."
"Made a visit here today. Came away very impressed. Looks like a wonderful, rather large play area for kids. The paved trail that wanders through the park makes it nice for hiking or biking. I was here for bird and wildlife watching and wasn't disappointed. Enjoyed my day !!"
"Wanted a short hike and found one here. I only saw a small portion of the park and its a gem from what ive seen!"
"Beautiful newer facility. The shelter has seating for 120, with kitchen and restrooms. Playground is steps away, plenty of parking. Trails that lead to the lakefront and through the surrounding woods. I'm very impressed."
"We camped in a Class C motorhome here. We reserved and paid online. There was no tag on our site and nowhere to check in. We finally saw someone in the 4th day who wanted to know why we had not dropped money in the self registration and I had to explain that we reserved online. He said our tag probably blew away. It is a beautiful park but the sites are extremely long and extremely unlevel. The hookups are all at the very back of the sites so take extra long hoses. We were there in mid April and there was no water anywhere, not even a restroom open. The trash was nearly full with a chain across it so it was hard to squeeze our trash in."
