"Undoubtedly better than what this location was previously - a boarded up, abandoned shack on a busy intersection. It definitely improves the perception of the area and I'm sure the property value of nearby homes, however the practicality of a park in this location is questionable. Without on street parking, any would be visitors would be left confused regarding parking. Even so, park goers would be met with a few things if they were to sit on the benches here - car and truck exhaust, and road noise. I appreciate beautifying the area, but from what I understand truck drivers were looking forward to the city using this land to expand turning room/space/lanes (which was rejected) and it seems like that may perhaps have been a better use."
