"As we close out yet another camping season, I have to say thanks to the campground hosts for doing all they do. They are definitely a big part of the reason why we enjoy the time we spend there."
"Chad & Trudy are always helpful and accommodating. Grounds and the beach are well maintained."
"We stayed two nights. Had to get on the road it was very nice clean rest rooms. Quiet, A pond for fishing and a good place for walking. And don't forget to get Le Mars world's famous Blue Bunny ice cream downtown"
"Camped in the old section (new section is full hook up), cement pads that are level, fair amount of shade, great biking trail, dump station down the street, bathrooms were not cleaned (we were there Fri. through Mon.), quiet hours not observed, trash was full on Sunday & Monday. Did enjoy the restaurant down the street & ice cream store in town."
"This is a very nice campground located right in town. It has a small swimming and fishing lake with camp sites all around, kayak rentals and store for snacks and a few things you may have left at home. Sites vary in available hook ups, from full hooks to lesser choices. The owner operators are a young friendly couple who are more than happy to help if you need it. The grounds are nestled in surrounding mature trees and well protected from winds. There are paved pads in some areas and crushed rock in others. Nearly all back-in sites are in close to the trees, while pull thru sites are in the open center area. Site spacing is quite comfortable, so you won't be jammed in close together. It seems like most of the guests here are somewhat local, from nearby towns, out looking for a short getaway. Yes, we recommend it. Only got a 4 star because it would be nice if there were more big trees throughout the grounds, rather than only around the perimeter. But they have a number of plantings in place, so that will be coming."
