"I took my daughter and her friends for pedicures to celebrate her 10th birthday. I called ahead and was told they only needed a days notice for groups. When we arrived they immediately knew who we were, and all the girls got their pedis at the same time, so no one had to wait until the others were done. Very clean and bright environment, and wonderfully professional and kind designers."
"It was my first time coming to this salon and left disappointed. I picked out the color I wanted and showed staff what I was wanting, she insisted I change the color to one that looks more like the photo. The end result was nothing like the photo. Staff was judgmental and seemed like in a rush. Practices were not hygienic: for dip my finger was dipped into the large container and when filing my nails, staff filed skin down to the point where it was painful and bleeding. Staff ignored the (decent amount of) blood and continued to file and work on the nail. Prices were also not relative to other salons in the area, at least in my experience. I don’t want to hurt a small and local business, I just want to share my experience."
"1st time here and it was a great experience. The nail techs are friendly and the lady that did my nails was kind, friendly and paid attention to detail! I have had a hard time finding a nail place I like and I am glad I found 380 nails. Excited to see how my nails hold up over the next 4 weeks!"
"Edit: I have debated leaving a negative review because I don’t want to hurt a small business, and the owner is a really nice man. However, since my first visit, I have had several unpleasant experiences, mostly with the owner’s wife. Personal experiences aside, when you make appointments, you still have to wait up to an hour sometimes. And then, appointments feel very rushed. It is also very expensive, and the product is cheap and chips if you don’t use certain brands, like OPI. Before moving here from a similar area, I paid $45-60 for dip depending on the design. At 380, I pay $70 for regular dip, no design, but usually upwards of $90-100 after a 20% tip. T, who did a fantastic job, no longer works here. I went into 380 because I work nearby and had just moved to Iowa from Arkansas. I went to another popular nail place first, and my experience was less than satisfactory after paying $90 for a dip manicure that was rushed and chipped within less than a week. 380 nails, on the other hand, took their time and was super friendly. They asked questions and gave me exactly what I wanted. My nails lasted over 3 weeks before I went to get them done again. (The two pics are 3 weeks apart.) Much better than other local places in the opinion of this newbie from out of town."
"Really wanted to love this place due to the convenient location and supporting a business local to Tiffin. Went for the first time on Wednesday June 9th. Place was very nice and clean and the staff was really nice. Got a dip manicure and it just didn’t look right, the top coat wasn’t glossy, nails were really thin, but I went with it. Paid $63 with tip, left and within a few hours, three nails had broken. Went back the next day, they were apologetic, redid the three that were broken as well as add another layer of dip and redo the top coat to the rest of the nails. They looked great but within 6 days, two nails had huge chips in the top and by the 7th day, another nail completely cracked all the way across. I have never had this issue with dip and get my nails done very regularly. I type for a living, so know that I am not overly hard on my nails. Unsure if it’s the product or the way it was put on, but will definitely be going back to my old nail place where in several years I have never had this kind of issue and know my nails only need to be redone because they’ve grown out, not because several have broken."
